| CVE-2026-105797 | 1 Microsoft | 1 Simplechat | 2026-10-07 | 8.8 High |
| SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. In versions 0.261.003 and 0.261.027, an authorization ordering flaw in POST /api/user/plugins allows an authenticated low-privileged user to omit the top-level MCP type so that _reject_non_admin_mcp_stdio skips inspection before the type is restored from metadata. The stored personal action can then reach McpPluginFactory.create_connector, and MCPStdioPlugin.connect starts the attacker-selected operating-system process under the application service identity when the action tool is invoked. Exploitation requires personal plugins to be enabled and governance to permit MCP actions, and it can expose or modify secrets and data available to the service or disrupt the service. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.031. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105798 | 1 Microsoft | 1 Simplechat | 2026-10-07 | 8.7 High |
| SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.261.029, POST /api/group_documents/upload stores an attacker-controlled group document filename that group_workspaces.html later interpolates into inline Share event handlers. The escapeGroupHtml function leaves apostrophes unchanged, while escapeHtml produces an HTML entity that the browser decodes before JavaScript evaluation, so either path permits the filename to terminate the handler string. An authenticated group Owner, Admin, or DocumentManager can persist script that executes in the SimpleChat origin when another group member clicks Share, allowing access to victim-visible data and actions with the victim session. This issue is fixed in version 0.261.029. | ||||
| CVE-2026-61411 | 1 Dell | 1 Container Storage Modules | 2026-10-07 | 7.7 High |
| Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106100 | 1 Payloadcms | 1 Payload | 2026-10-07 | 7.1 High |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In @payloadcms/db-mongodb versions before 3.87.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.20, an authenticated user who can update a document can modify fields that field-level write access control does not permit that user to change. The Postgres and SQLite adapters are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.87.0 and 4.0.0-canary.20. | ||||
| CVE-2026-26287 | 1 External-secrets | 1 External-secrets | 2026-10-07 | 7.1 High |
| External Secrets Operator reads information from a third-party service and automatically injects the values as Kubernetes Secrets. Starting in version 0.10.0 and prior to version 1.3.2, a bug in the `webhook` generator initialization order incorrectly cleared the label-enforcement flag (`EnforceLabels`) after it was set, resulting in the provider-side check for `external-secrets.io/type=webhook` being skipped (and the operation to succeed while it should have failed with `secret does not contain needed label 'external-secrets.io/type: webhook'. Update secret label to use it with webhook`. Version 1.3.2 contains a patch. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104850 | 1 Modelcontextprotocol | 1 Typescript-sdk | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. Starting in version 1.12.0 and prior to versions 1.31.0 and 2.2.0, the SDK's OAuth client support let the MCP server a client connected to decide which authorization server received the client's OAuth credentials. Stored and pre-provisioned credentials were not bound to the authorization server they belong to. A malicious or compromised MCP server could name its own authorization server in its protected resource metadata. Without any user interaction, the client would send that server the `refresh_token` and `client_secret` stored from an earlier sign-in (1.x), or the configured `client_secret` or signed assertion of a bundled non-interactive provider (1.x and 2.x). Only those applications that use the SDK as an MCP client over HTTP with an `authProvider`: your own `OAuthClientProvider`, or the bundled `ClientCredentialsProvider`, `PrivateKeyJwtProvider`, `StaticPrivateKeyJwtProvider` or (2.x) `CrossAppAccessProvider` and that may connect to an MCP server the owners does not fully trust while holding credentials for a legitimate authorization server are affected. `@modelcontextprotocol/sdk` 1.31.0 (1.x) and `@modelcontextprotocol/client` 2.2.0 (2.x) patch the issue. A workaround for those who cannot upgrade is available. 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 already accept `expectedIssuer`. On 1.x, the only workaround is to connect OAuth-enabled clients only to MCP servers you trust. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71168 | 1 Dell | 1 System Update | 2026-10-07 | 7.3 High |
| Dell System Update, versions prior to 2.3.0.0, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106347 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-10-07 | 8.8 High |
| Use after free in Track in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) | ||||
| CVE-2026-105862 | 1 Payloadcms | 1 Payload | 2026-10-07 | 8.7 High |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, a collection that allows downloadable SVG uploads can store a malicious SVG that bypasses sanitization and executes attacker-controlled JavaScript when a user downloads and opens the SVG. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105865 | 1 Payloadcms | 1 Payload | 2026-10-07 | 8.1 High |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, an authenticated user who can update or delete uploads stored locally can cause file cleanup to remove unintended files outside the configured upload directory, resulting in data loss or service disruption. Deployments that restrict upload management to trusted users are less exposed. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98231 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-07 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: serialize state GC with device state flush The deferred-device pass in xfrm_dev_state_flush() finds states under xfrm_state_dev_gc_lock, but drops the lock before calling xfrm_dev_state_free() because the driver callback may sleep. The device GC list does not hold an xfrm_state reference, so the state GC worker can destroy the same state concurrently. The race can proceed as follows: CPU 0 CPU 1 find x on the device GC list drop xfrm_state_dev_gc_lock read x->xso.dev xfrm_state_gc_destroy(x) xfrm_dev_state_free(x) xfrm_state_free(x) continue xfrm_dev_state_free(x) Both paths can invoke the driver callback and drop the device reference. CPU 0 can also access the xfrm_state after CPU 1 has freed it. KASAN reported: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in xfrm_dev_state_free+0x24c/0x2a0 Read of size 8 at addr ffff88810bbaa960 by task poc/102 Call Trace: xfrm_dev_state_free+0x24c/0x2a0 xfrm_dev_state_flush+0x353/0x400 xfrm_dev_event+0x26d/0x3a0 notifier_call_chain+0xc0/0x280 __dev_notify_flags+0x169/0x250 netif_change_flags+0xe7/0x160 dev_change_flags+0x96/0x220 devinet_ioctl+0x7f4/0x1880 Allocated by task 87: xfrm_state_alloc+0x1e/0x5c0 xfrm_add_sa+0xe7f/0x5820 xfrm_user_rcv_msg+0x4f3/0x940 Freed by task 57: kmem_cache_free+0xcb/0x3d0 xfrm_state_gc_task+0x4a8/0x650 process_one_work+0x63a/0x1070 Serialize xfrm_state destruction against the deferred-device pass with a mutex. | CVE-2026-106112 | 1 Sixlabors | 1 Imagesharp | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 4.0.0 until 4.1.2, ICC LUT16 conversion accepts more than four output channels even though ClutCalculator.Calculate and LutEntryCalculator.CalculateLut store intermediate and output values in Vector4. When DecoderOptions.ColorProfileHandling is set to Convert, a malformed embedded profile can direct interpolation and output-LUT operations to write one float per declared channel beyond the four-float destination. This can corrupt memory and terminate the process; the default Preserve mode does not run ICC conversion. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106117 | 1 Sixlabors | 1 Imagesharp | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 3.0.0 until 4.1.1, decoding a strip TIFF using CCITT Group 3 or Modified Huffman compression can pass attacker-expanded runs to BitWriterUtils.WriteBits without first checking the current row width. T4TiffCompression.WritePixelRun can accumulate oversized makeup-code runs, and ModifiedHuffmanTiffCompression.Decompress validates the width only after writing. The unchecked writes can overflow the strip buffer, corrupt heap memory, and terminate the process. This strip-path vulnerability is distinct from the tiled decompressor-width mismatch. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106118 | 1 Sixlabors | 1 Imagesharp | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 3.0.0 until 4.1.1, tiled TIFF decoding allocates a destination buffer using TileWidth but TiffDecompressorsFactory.Create constructs T4, T6, and Modified Huffman decompressors using the full frame width. TiffDecoderCore.DecodeTilesChunky can therefore direct frame-width fax scanlines into a tile-width buffer when TileWidth is smaller than ImageWidth. The mismatch causes attacker-controlled out-of-bounds writes, heap corruption, and process termination even with legal per-row run codes. This tiled-path vulnerability is distinct from oversized CCITT runs in strip decoding. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.1. | ||||

| CVE-2026-106366 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-10-07 | 8.8 High |
| Incomplete cleanup in CustomTabs in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) | ||||
| CVE-2026-98167 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-07 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: fix server->total_read for compound encrypted PDUs In receive_encrypted_standard(), server->total_read is left at the full decrypted frame size when walking sub-PDUs of a compound encrypted frame. As a result, cifs_handle_standard() passes this full size to smb2_check_message(), causing the PDU length guards to incorrectly validate the entire compound frame instead of the current sub-PDU. This allows truncated non-last sub-PDUs to bypass length validation, leading to out-of-bounds reads in smb2_get_data_area_len(). Fix this by setting server->total_read to the true length of the current sub-PDU: next_cmd for non-last sub-PDUs, and the remaining pdu_length for the last one. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56906 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2026-10-07 | 7 High |
| In ep_free of eventpoll.c, there is a possible use-after-free due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. | ||||
