| CVE-2026-98628 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-20 | 2.3 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Make post-verification instruction rewrites killable After do_check() returns, the verifier runs several instruction rewrite passes. Some of them patch or remove one instruction at a time. Each operation moves the remaining instruction and auxiliary-data arrays and adjusts all branch offsets, making the overall work quadratic in the program length. A privileged loader can submit 131072 unconditional jumps by zero followed by a valid return. Verification finishes quickly, but bpf_opt_remove_nops() then spends a long time removing each jump separately. Since this post-verification work neither checks for signals nor reschedules, a pending SIGKILL cannot terminate the task until the rewrite finishes. Make bpf_patch_insn_data() and verifier_remove_insns() common cancellation and rescheduling points. These helpers run from BPF_PROG_LOAD process context, and bpf_patch_insn_data() can already sleep while reallocating auxiliary data. Report interrupted constant blinding as -EINTR and propagate it through both JIT paths, including kernels that permit interpreter fallback. Other blinding failures retain the existing fallback behavior. This does not reduce the quadratic cost of the rewrite passes, but it makes the work preemptible and allows a killed loader to be torn down promptly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98788 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-20 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Fix private hash use-after-free on resize poll_state_synchronize_rcu(mm->futex.phash.batches) is used by futex_ref_drop() to check that a grace period has passed since the current hash was published. This relies on batches referencing a grace period which started after the hash pointer was assigned. __futex_pivot_hash() sets mmph->batches before it replaces mmph->hash: scoped_guard(rcu) { mmph->batches = get_state_synchronize_rcu(); rcu_assign_pointer(mmph->hash, new); } The scoped_guard(rcu) doesn't stop new grace periods from starting, and if one starts between those two assignments, futex_ref_drop() can move forward while a reader still holds a pointer to the old hash. Fix things by setting mmph->batches after assigning mmph->hash. The scoped_guard(rcu) isn't needed, so let's drop that as well. | ||||

| CVE-2026-104627 | 1 Gitea | 1 Gitea | 2026-10-20 | 5.4 Medium |
| The Gitea OpenID association callback in the security settings accepted a positive OpenID 2.0 assertion without checking that the signed-in user had started the linking. Because OpenID 2.0 allows unsolicited assertions, an attacker-controlled OpenID provider could attach the attacker's identity to the account of a signed-in victim who opened a crafted link, and the attacker could then sign in as the victim through OpenID login, which does not apply the local TOTP or WebAuthn checks. The callback now requires a time-limited `state` value bound to the user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110311 | 1 Gitea | 1 Gitea | 2026-10-20 | 4.3 Medium |
| Creating a draft release through the API returned an `assets` list that was built from a release without an ID, which matched every attachment that was not linked to a release. A user who could create a draft release in a repository therefore received the metadata (file name, UUID, upload time, size and download count) of issue and comment attachments of repositories they could not read, and of abandoned uploads. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104898 | 2 Ladela, Wordpress-extensions | 2 Online Scheduling And Appointment Booking System – Bookly, Bookly | 2026-10-20 | 6.8 Medium |
| The Online Scheduling and Appointment Booking System – Bookly plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 28.4 via the 'id, wp_user_id' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the WordPress account binding of any Bookly staff record, including those owned by administrators, effectively hijacking a higher-privileged staff member's account association and escalating privileges. Exploitation requires the attacking user to be linked to at least one Bookly staff record, which occurs by default whenever an admin enables the bookly_gen_allow_staff_edit_profile option (active on fresh installs) and links a WordPress user to a staff entry. | ||||
