| CVE-2026-91205 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-files. A local unprivileged attacker can exploit a race condition during directory creation with owner assignment. By controlling a writable parent directory, the attacker can replace a newly created directory with a symbolic link (symlink) before the ownership change operation (chown) is applied. This allows the attacker to redirect the ownership change to an arbitrary file, potentially leading to information disclosure or unauthorized modification of sensitive files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91202 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-files. A low-privileged local user can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a directory containing a symbolic link (symlink) and then using the privileged "Paste as owner" function. This allows for arbitrary file ownership changes outside the intended pasted directory, leading to a compromise of data integrity. In some cases, this could also lead to reduced confidentiality if the new ownership grants unauthorized read access. Exploitation requires user interaction to select a non-original owner during the paste operation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112073 | 1 Tencent | 1 Ncnn | 2026-10-19 | 6.3 Medium |

| phpMyFAQ 3.2.0-alpha before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows IdP-authenticated users to skip TOTP two-factor authentication through the Keycloak and Entra ID SSO callbacks. Attackers holding a valid or phished IdP identity linked to a 2FA-enabled account can complete the OIDC flow and obtain a fully authenticated session, including administrator accounts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85013 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-10-19 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in environment-modules. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by placing a maliciously named modulefile in a location visible to the victim's `MODULEPATH`. When the victim uses Bash completion for `module` or `ml` commands, the malicious module name, containing shell metacharacters, is evaluated as a command. This can lead to arbitrary command execution in the completing user's shell, impacting their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98843 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: zero gaps in read-gaps folio to avoid writing back stale data netfs_read_gaps() leaves gaps around a streaming write's dirty region unread on the server side, so a short/EOF response there left stale folio content that later got written back. Zero it after the read completes, not before: netfs_wait_for_read() returns rreq->transferred once ret >= 0, so build an iterator over the same bvec array the read used, advance past ret, and zero the rest. The dirty region already maps to sink pages in that array rather than the real folio, so this can't touch it, and only the actual shortfall gets zeroed instead of the whole gap upfront. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111884 | 2 Phpmyfaq, Thorsten | 2 Phpmyfaq, Phpmyfaq | 2026-10-19 | 8.3 High |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta does not require the current password when changing an account e-mail in the user control panel (UserController::updateData, api/user/data/update), checking only the session and CSRF token. An attacker with a hijacked session can set the e-mail to their own mailbox and use the password-reset flow to take over non-2FA accounts, including superadmin. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111887 | 2 Phpmyfaq, Thorsten | 2 Phpmyfaq, Phpmyfaq | 2026-10-19 | 5.3 Medium |
| phpMyFAQ before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an account enumeration vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to confirm registered display names and emails via a distinct HTTP 409 response. Attackers can submit guest comments to the comment create endpoint with candidate user and mail values to link names to emails for targeted phishing. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98623 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/clk: fix list cursor use after loop in nvkm_clk_ustate_update If list_for_each_entry() exits without hitting a break then "pstate" is not a valid pstate pointer. Introduce a "found" variable instead. The check is reachable from userspace: nvkm_clk_ustate_update() takes the pstate id straight from the 'pstate' debugfs file, so requesting an id that is not in clk->states - or any id at all when the perf tables are broken and the list is empty - makes the pstate->pstate != req test dereference the list head cast to a struct nvkm_pstate, which is an out-of-bounds read. [Francesco: rebased on drm-misc-next, expanded the commit message] | ||||
| CVE-2026-98631 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xsk: Use a 32-bit compare in xsk_map_gen_lookup xsk_map_gen_lookup() loads a u32 key and compares it with max_entries using BPF_JMP_IMM. BPF immediates are sign-extended to 64 bits, so a max_entries value of 0x80000000 or higher becomes a threshold larger than every zero-extended 32-bit key. An out-of-range index then skips the bounds check and the generated lookup reads past xsk_map[]. Compare with BPF_JMP32_IMM so the check stays in 32-bit unsigned range. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98722 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-19 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: block2mtd: Fix divide error when erase_size is zero The erase size is parsed from the "block2mtd" module parameter and can be set to zero. add_device() then evaluates if (size % erase_size) with a zero divisor, which triggers a divide error: divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP PTI RIP: 0010:add_device drivers/mtd/devices/block2mtd.c:296 [inline] RIP: 0010:block2mtd_setup2+0x592/0xda0 drivers/mtd/devices/block2mtd.c:459 Call Trace: block2mtd_setup+0x27/0xe0 drivers/mtd/devices/block2mtd.c:476 param_attr_store+0x214/0x310 kernel/params.c:589 module_attr_store+0x65/0x90 kernel/params.c:904 kernfs_fop_write_iter+0x3a4/0x540 fs/kernfs/file.c:345 ... Reject a zero erase size before performing the modulo operation so the existing "erasesize must be a divisor of device size" error path reports the invalid argument and frees the device. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89302 | 1 Wordpress-extensions | 1 Post Voting System | 2026-10-19 | 8.6 High |
| The Post Voting System WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not properly sanitize and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL query, allowing unauthenticated users to perform SQL injection attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111886 | 2 Phpmyfaq, Thorsten | 2 Phpmyfaq, Phpmyfaq | 2026-10-19 | 6.5 Medium |
| phpMyFAQ from 4.2.0-alpha.2 before 4.2.0-beta lacks brute-force lockout in the removeTwofactorConfig() 2FA removal endpoint, allowing authenticated attackers to guess TOTP codes without limit. Attackers holding a hijacked session and CSRF token can repeatedly POST guesses to /api/user/remove-twofactor to permanently disable the victim's 2FA. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98616 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: fbnic: reset num_napi when the napi vectors are freed fbn->num_napi is the count of live napi vectors, each of which owns an IRQ. The PM path had freed them without clearing the count. fbnic_pm_suspend() tears the datapath down via ndo_stop() and frees the IRQs, but leaves netif_running() true so resume knows to re-open. Resume rebuilds the datapath in __fbnic_pm_resume() and fbnic_reset_queues() sets num_napi and __fbnic_open() re-allocates the vectors. When the datapath is torn down but never rebuilt, num_napi is left pointing at freed vectors under 2 different scenarios: - a PCIe error recovery that fails (fbnic_err_slot_reset() -> __fbnic_pm_resume() returns an error -> PCI_ERS_RESULT_DISCONNECT), so .resume never runs; or - an __fbnic_open() that fails partway on resume and unwinds, freeing the vectors after fbnic_reset_queues() has already set num_napi. The netdev is then running with num_napi > 0 but napi[] freed, and the eventual remove/unbind close re-enters fbnic_down() -> fbnic_dbg_down() and dereferences the freed vectors: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000210 RIP: fbnic_dbg_down+0x28 Clear num_napi when the vectors are freed: in the suspend teardown (a good resume re-establishes it before __fbnic_open()) and on the resume open failure. A redundant ndo_stop() then walks an empty napi[]. The normal ndo_stop() down/up cycle is untouched and keeps num_napi for the next ndo_open(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-98664 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: imu: adis16400: fix unprotected debugfs reads adis16400_serial_number_fops is open coded and never calls debugfs_file_get(), so debugfs_remove_recursive() does not wait for a read in progress and unbind frees the iio_dev underneath it. Commit ae1d37a9bb4b ("iio: imu: adis16400: use DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE instead of DEFINE_SIMPLE_ATTRIBUTE") converted product_id and flash_count to DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE, which protects itself, but moved all three files to debugfs_create_file_unsafe(). serial_number prints three registers as "%.4x-%.4x-%.4x" and DEFINE_DEBUGFS_ATTRIBUTE() formats a single u64, so it cannot be converted without changing what the file returns. adis16475 and adis16550 already use debugfs_create_file() for their open coded files. Use it here too. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98685 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-18 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: discard post-EOF pagecache when extending a file via clone range cifs_remap_file_range() discarded the pagecache only for the folios overlapping the destination region, so when a clone extends the file the folio straddling the old EOF - which may hold data dirtied past EOF through an mmap - was never dropped and became visible as file content once the file was extended. Start the discard at the smaller of fstart and the old EOF. i_size is still old here, so nothing past the old EOF is flushed to the server. | ||||
