| CVE-2021-3711 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Openssl and 3 more | 32 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 29 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| In order to decrypt SM2 encrypted data an application is expected to call the API function EVP_PKEY_decrypt(). Typically an application will call this function twice. The first time, on entry, the "out" parameter can be NULL and, on exit, the "outlen" parameter is populated with the buffer size required to hold the decrypted plaintext. The application can then allocate a sufficiently sized buffer and call EVP_PKEY_decrypt() again, but this time passing a non-NULL value for the "out" parameter. A bug in the implementation of the SM2 decryption code means that the calculation of the buffer size required to hold the plaintext returned by the first call to EVP_PKEY_decrypt() can be smaller than the actual size required by the second call. This can lead to a buffer overflow when EVP_PKEY_decrypt() is called by the application a second time with a buffer that is too small. A malicious attacker who is able present SM2 content for decryption to an application could cause attacker chosen data to overflow the buffer by up to a maximum of 62 bytes altering the contents of other data held after the buffer, possibly changing application behaviour or causing the application to crash. The location of the buffer is application dependent but is typically heap allocated. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1k). | ||||
| CVE-2021-3520 | 5 Lz4 Project, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 12 Lz4, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 9 more | 2026-10-08 | 9.8 Critical |
| There's a flaw in lz4. An attacker who submits a crafted file to an application linked with lz4 may be able to trigger an integer overflow, leading to calling of memmove() on a negative size argument, causing an out-of-bounds write and/or a crash. The greatest impact of this flaw is to availability, with some potential impact to confidentiality and integrity as well. | ||||

| CVE-2021-33624 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-08 | 4.7 Medium |
| In kernel/bpf/verifier.c in the Linux kernel before 5.12.13, a branch can be mispredicted (e.g., because of type confusion) and consequently an unprivileged BPF program can read arbitrary memory locations via a side-channel attack, aka CID-9183671af6db. | ||||
| CVE-2021-30640 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 10 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Communications Cloud Native Core Policy and 7 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability in the JNDI Realm of Apache Tomcat allows an attacker to authenticate using variations of a valid user name and/or to bypass some of the protection provided by the LockOut Realm. This issue affects Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.5; 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.45; 8.5.0 to 8.5.65. | ||||
| CVE-2021-28972 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Netapp | 5 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 2 more | 2026-10-08 | 6.7 Medium |
| In drivers/pci/hotplug/rpadlpar_sysfs.c in the Linux kernel through 5.11.8, the RPA PCI Hotplug driver has a user-tolerable buffer overflow when writing a new device name to the driver from userspace, allowing userspace to write data to the kernel stack frame directly. This occurs because add_slot_store and remove_slot_store mishandle drc_name '\0' termination, aka CID-cc7a0bb058b8. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20193 | 1 Gnu | 1 Tar | 2026-10-08 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in the src/list.c of tar 1.33 and earlier. This flaw allows an attacker who can submit a crafted input file to tar to cause uncontrolled consumption of memory. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2020-7639 | 1 Dot Project | 1 Dot | 2026-10-08 | 5.3 Medium |
| eivindfjeldstad-dot below 1.0.3 is vulnerable to Prototype Pollution. The function 'set' could be tricked into adding or modifying properties of 'Object.prototype' using a '__proto__' payload. | ||||
| CVE-2020-7598 | 3 Opensuse, Redhat, Substack | 9 Leap, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.6 Medium |
| minimist before 1.2.2 could be tricked into adding or modifying properties of Object.prototype using a "constructor" or "__proto__" payload. | ||||
| CVE-2020-28097 | 2 Linux, Netapp | 18 Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup, H300e and 15 more | 2026-10-08 | 5.9 Medium |
| The vgacon subsystem in the Linux kernel before 5.8.10 mishandles software scrollback. There is a vgacon_scrolldelta out-of-bounds read, aka CID-973c096f6a85. | ||||

| An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.11.8. kernel/bpf/verifier.c has an off-by-one error (with a resultant integer underflow) affecting out-of-bounds speculation on pointer arithmetic, leading to side-channel attacks that defeat Spectre mitigations and obtain sensitive information from kernel memory, aka CID-10d2bb2e6b1d. | ||||
