| CVE-2026-75806 | 1 Openssl | 1 Openssl | 2026-10-08 | 5.3 Medium |
| Issue summary: An established DTLS 1.2 association using an AEAD cipher suite can be terminated by a single unauthenticated datagram whose encrypted fragment is shorter than the mandatory explicit IV and authentication tag overhead. Impact summary: An attacker who can send a datagram that is routed to an existing DTLS 1.2 association can tear that association down without knowing any key material. This is a Denial of Service limited to the targeted association. There is no memory safety or confidentiality impact. CWE: CWE-1284: Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input Description: In TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2 every record protected by an AEAD cipher suite carries an explicit IV followed by the ciphertext and an authentication tag. When decrypting such a record the record layer passed the record length to the cipher implementation before checking that the record was long enough to contain the explicit IV and the tag. For a record shorter than that overhead the cipher implementation rejected the impossible length, and the record layer treated this as an internal failure and raised a fatal internal_error alert instead of treating the record as one that failed authentication. In TLS 1.2 the same record causes a fatal internal_error alert instead of the expected bad_record_mac alert. Since any undecryptable record already terminates a TLS connection, this is a protocol conformance issue rather than a security issue in TLS. The fix validates the record length against the explicit IV and tag length before any AEAD processing, so that TLS reports bad_record_mac and DTLS silently discards the record. FIPS impact: no The affected code is outside the FIPS module boundary. | ||||

| CVE-2026-104029 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-07 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-107218 | 1 Qax-os | 1 Excelize | 2026-10-07 | 5.3 Medium |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.10.1 to 2.11.0, RIGHT validates the requested length with UTF-16 code-unit counts but slices a rune array using Unicode code-point counts. RIGHT reaches leftRight through CalcCellValue, where countUTF16String validates one unit but utf8.RuneCountInString supplies the slice index in another. When RIGHT evaluates supplementary-plane text with a requested character count between the rune count and UTF-16 code-unit count, the inconsistent units produce a negative rune-slice index, allowing an attacker to panic during formula evaluation. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96399 | 1 Gitea | 1 Gitea | 2026-10-07 | 7.5 High |
| A repository's external issue tracker regular expression containing alternating capture groups could produce invalid slice indexes when Gitea rendered issue references, causing a runtime panic that terminated the Gitea process. A user who can edit a repository's external issue tracker settings could make any later rendering of matching content, such as viewing a README, crash the instance for all users. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104042 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a crafted Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) request containing a zero-length authentication token to the responder socket. Due to missing input validation, the service attempts to read beyond buffer boundaries when processing the token, causing the PAM responder to crash. | ||||

| A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the OnGuard agent of ClearPass Policy Manager. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated local user to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the affected host or to disrupt the availability of the affected service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63992 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-07 | 9.1 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tunnels: do not assume transport header in iptunnel_pmtud_check_icmp() In some cases, iptunnel_pmtud_check_icmp() can be called while skb transport header is not set. This triggers an out-of-bound access, because (typeof(skb->transport_header))~0U is 65535. Access the icmp header based on IPv4 network header, after making sure icmp->type is present in skb linear part. Note that iptunnel_pmtud_check_icmpv6()) is fine. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107211 | 1 Qax-os | 1 Excelize | 2026-10-07 | N/A |
| Excelize is a Go language library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. From 2.8.1 to 2.11.0, separately parsed pivot-table field indices are used to index the pivot-cache field-name slice without bounds checks. extractPivotTableFields uses getPivotCacheFieldsName output while processing GetPivotTables and trusts the dataField fld attribute as an index. When a crafted workbook supplies a pivot-field count mismatch or an out-of-range dataField fld value before GetPivotTables is called, the unchecked index causes a Go slice-bounds panic that escapes the library, allowing an attacker to crash the process or request worker. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||

| CVE-2026-76471 | 2026-10-07 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| A vulnerability in the NX-API feature of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of data that is sent to the NX-API. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to the NX-API of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and could cause process crashes, which could result in a reload of the device and a DoS condition. | ||||

| CVE-2026-15894 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-10-07 | 8.8 High |
| The Bluetooth Mesh On-Demand Private Proxy solicitation handler in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/solicitation.c copies a received Solicitation PDU into a fixed 17-byte stack buffer without bounding the source length. In sol_pdu_decrypt(), out is allocated as NET_BUF_SIMPLE(17) and then filled with net_buf_simple_add_mem(out, in->data, in->len); net_buf_simple_add() guards its tailroom only with __ASSERT_NO_MSG, which is compiled out in production builds, so when in->len > 17 the underlying memcpy writes attacker-controlled bytes past the 17-byte stack buffer. The copy occurs before any decryption or authentication, so no key material is required to trigger it. The oversized length arises because the mesh scan callback in subsys/bluetooth/mesh/adv.c calls net_buf_simple_restore() before dispatching to bt_mesh_sol_recv(), leaving buf->len covering the entire remaining advertising payload rather than just the Solicitation Service Data. After the parser locates the Service Data AD and consumes the Identification Type byte, the remaining buf->len is the 17-octet Network PDU plus any trailing advertising bytes, and prior to this fix there was no maximum-length check (only a minimum). An attacker can therefore append extra AD structures or padding after the Solicitation Service Data to make buf->len exceed 17. bt_mesh_scan_cb() is registered directly as the BLE scan callback, so buf is raw, unauthenticated advertising data received over the air. Any device in radio range can send a non-connectable advertisement carrying a crafted mesh Proxy Solicitation to a node that has CONFIG_BT_MESH_OD_PRIV_PROXY_SRV enabled and is currently eligible to be solicited (GATT proxy disabled, On-Demand Private Proxy enabled), with no pairing, bonding, or provisioning. The result is an attacker-controlled stack overwrite — plausibly leading to remote code execution and at minimum a reliable remote denial of service. The fix trims buf->len to the spec-fixed 17 octets (dropping the PDU if fewer remain) before decryption. | ||||
