| CVE-2018-0495 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnupg and 2 more | 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libgcrypt and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Libgcrypt before 1.7.10 and 1.8.x before 1.8.3 allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures that can be mitigated through the use of blinding during the signing process in the _gcry_ecc_ecdsa_sign function in cipher/ecc-ecdsa.c, aka the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. To discover an ECDSA key, the attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9050 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 2 Jboss Core Services, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| libxml2 20904-GITv2.9.4-16-g0741801 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in the xmlDictAddString function in dict.c. This vulnerability causes programs that use libxml2, such as PHP, to crash. This vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-1839. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9049 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 2 Jboss Core Services, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| libxml2 20904-GITv2.9.4-16-g0741801 is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in the xmlDictComputeFastKey function in dict.c. This vulnerability causes programs that use libxml2, such as PHP, to crash. This vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for libxml2 Bug 759398. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9048 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 2 Jboss Core Services, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| libxml2 20904-GITv2.9.4-16-g0741801 is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function xmlSnprintfElementContent in valid.c is supposed to recursively dump the element content definition into a char buffer 'buf' of size 'size'. At the end of the routine, the function may strcat two more characters without checking whether the current strlen(buf) + 2 < size. This vulnerability causes programs that use libxml2, such as PHP, to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9047 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 2 Jboss Core Services, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| A buffer overflow was discovered in libxml2 20904-GITv2.9.4-16-g0741801. The function xmlSnprintfElementContent in valid.c is supposed to recursively dump the element content definition into a char buffer 'buf' of size 'size'. The variable len is assigned strlen(buf). If the content->type is XML_ELEMENT_CONTENT_ELEMENT, then (i) the content->prefix is appended to buf (if it actually fits) whereupon (ii) content->name is written to the buffer. However, the check for whether the content->name actually fits also uses 'len' rather than the updated buffer length strlen(buf). This allows us to write about "size" many bytes beyond the allocated memory. This vulnerability causes programs that use libxml2, such as PHP, to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7376 | 3 Debian, Google, Xmlsoft | 3 Debian Linux, Android, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Buffer overflow in libxml2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging an incorrect limit for port values when handling redirects. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7375 | 3 Debian, Google, Xmlsoft | 3 Debian Linux, Android, Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| A flaw in libxml2 allows remote XML entity inclusion with default parser flags (i.e., when the caller did not request entity substitution, DTD validation, external DTD subset loading, or default DTD attributes). Depending on the context, this may expose a higher-risk attack surface in libxml2 not usually reachable with default parser flags, and expose content from local files, HTTP, or FTP servers (which might be otherwise unreachable). | ||||
| CVE-2017-18258 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 4 Ansible Tower, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| The xz_head function in xzlib.c in libxml2 before 2.9.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a crafted LZMA file, because the decoder functionality does not restrict memory usage to what is required for a legitimate file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17512 | 1 Sensible-utils Project | 1 Sensible-utils | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| sensible-browser in sensible-utils before 0.0.11 does not validate strings before launching the program specified by the BROWSER environment variable, which allows remote attackers to conduct argument-injection attacks via a crafted URL, as demonstrated by a --proxy-pac-file argument. | ||||
| CVE-2017-16932 | 1 Xmlsoft | 1 Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.5 does not prevent infinite recursion in parameter entities. | ||||
| CVE-2017-16931 | 1 Xmlsoft | 1 Libxml2 | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.5 mishandles parameter-entity references because the NEXTL macro calls the xmlParserHandlePEReference function in the case of a '%' character in a DTD name. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15422 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Google and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Chrome and 5 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in international date handling in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ before 60.1, as used in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 63.0.3239.84 and other products, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. | ||||
| CVE-2017-0663 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| A remote code execution vulnerability in libxml2 could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High due to the possibility of remote code execution in an application that uses this library. Product: Android. Versions: 4.4.4, 5.0.2, 5.1.1, 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2. Android ID: A-37104170. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9318 | 4 Canonical, Redhat, Xmlsec Project and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Jboss Core Services, Xmlsec and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| libxml2 2.9.4 and earlier, as used in XMLSec 1.2.23 and earlier and other products, does not offer a flag directly indicating that the current document may be read but other files may not be opened, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct XML External Entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted document. | ||||
| CVE-2016-5131 | 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 18 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 15 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.8 High |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in libxml2 through 2.9.4, as used in Google Chrome before 52.0.2743.82, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to the XPointer range-to function. | ||||
| CVE-2016-4658 | 3 Apple, Redhat, Xmlsoft | 6 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| xpointer.c in libxml2 before 2.9.5 (as used in Apple iOS before 10, OS X before 10.12, tvOS before 10, and watchOS before 3, and other products) does not forbid namespace nodes in XPointer ranges, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (use-after-free and memory corruption) via a crafted XML document. | ||||

| Use-after-free vulnerability in bzip2recover in bzip2 1.0.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted bzip2 file, related to block ends set to before the start of the block. | ||||
| CVE-2016-10739 | 3 Gnu, Opensuse, Redhat | 4 Glibc, Leap, Ansible Tower and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.28, the getaddrinfo function would successfully parse a string that contained an IPv4 address followed by whitespace and arbitrary characters, which could lead applications to incorrectly assume that it had parsed a valid string, without the possibility of embedded HTTP headers or other potentially dangerous substrings. | ||||
| CVE-2016-10228 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Glibc, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| The iconv program in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.31 and earlier, when invoked with multiple suffixes in the destination encoding (TRANSLATE or IGNORE) along with the -c option, enters an infinite loop when processing invalid multi-byte input sequences, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
