CVSS v3.1 |
| libsignal-service-rs is a Rust version of the libsignal-service-java library which implements the core functionality to communicate with Signal servers. Prior to commit 82d70f6720e762898f34ae76b0894b0297d9b2f8, plaintext content envelopes could be injected by a server or a malicious client, and may have been able to bypass the end-to-end encryption and authentication. The vulnerability is fixed per 82d70f6720e762898f34ae76b0894b0297d9b2f8. The `Metadata` struct contains an additional `was_encrypted` field, which breaks the API, but should be easily resolvable. No known workarounds are available. |
| Nitrokey 3 Firmware is the the firmware of Nitrokey 3 USB keys. For release 1.8.0, and test releases with PIV enabled prior to 1.8.0, the PIV application could accept invalid keys for authentication of the admin key. This could lead to compromise of the integrity of the data stored in the application. An attacker without access to the proper administration key would be able to generate new keys and overwrite certificates. Such an attacker would not be able to read-out or extract existing private data, nor would they be able to gain access to cryptographic operations that would normally require PIN-based authentication. The issue is fixed in piv-authenticator 0.3.9, and in Nitrokey's firmware 1.8.1. |
| SPID.AspNetCore.Authentication is an AspNetCore Remote Authenticator for SPID. Authentication using Spid and CIE is based on the SAML2 standard which provides two entities: Identity Provider (IDP): the system that authenticates users and provides identity information (SAML affirmation) to the Service Provider, in essence, is responsible for the management of the credentials and identity of users; Service Provider (SP): the system that provides a service to the user and relies on the Identity Provider to authenticate the user, receives SAML assertions from the IdP to grant access to resources. The validation logic of the signature is central as it ensures that you cannot create a SAML response with arbitrary assertions and then impersonate other users. There is no guarantee that the first signature refers to the root object, it follows that if an attacker injects an item signed as the first element, all other signatures will not be verified. The only requirement is to have an XML element legitimately signed by the IdP, a condition that is easily met using the IdP's public metadata. An attacker could create an arbitrary SAML response that would be accepted by SPs using vulnerable SDKs, allowing him to impersonate any Spid and/or CIE user. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 3.4.0 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A misconfigured query in UniFi Network (v9.1.120 and earlier) could allow users to authenticate to Enterprise WiFi or VPN Server (l2tp and OpenVPN) using a device’s MAC address from 802.1X or MAC Authentication, if both services are enabled and share the same RADIUS profile. |
| CIE.AspNetCore.Authentication is an AspNetCore Remote Authenticator for CIE 3.0. Authentication using Spid and CIE is based on the SAML2 standard which provides two entities: 1. Identity Provider (IDP): the system that authenticates users and provides identity information (SAML affirmation) to the Service Provider, in essence, is responsible for the management of the credentials and identity of users; 2. Service Provider (SP): the system that provides a service to the user and relies on the Identity Provider to authenticate the user, receives SAML assertions from the IdP to grant access to resources. The library cie-aspnetcore refers to the second entity, the SP, and implements the validation logic of SAML assertions within SAML responses. In affected versions there is no guarantee that the first signature refers to the root object, it follows that if an attacker injects an item signed as the first element, all other signatures will not be verified. This issue has been addressed in version 2.1.0 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Hush Line is a free and open-source, anonymous-tip-line-as-a-service for organizations or individuals. The TOTP authentication flow has multiple issues that weakens its one-time nature. Specifically, the lack of 2FA for changing security settings allows attacker with CSRF or XSS primitives to change such settings without user interaction and credentials are required. This vulnerability has been patched in version 0.10.

| The RingCentral Communications plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass due to improper validation within the ringcentral_admin_login_2fa_verify() function in versions 1.5 to 1.6.8. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user simply by supplying identical bogus codes. |
| SFTPGo is a full-featured and highly configurable SFTP, HTTP/S, FTP/S and WebDAV server - S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob. SFTPGo WebAdmin and WebClient support password reset. This feature is disabled in the default configuration.
In SFTPGo versions prior to v2.6.1, if the feature is enabled, even users with access restrictions (e.g. expired) can reset their password and log in. Users are advised to upgrade to version 2.6.1. Users unable to upgrade may keep the password reset feature disabled or set a blank email address for users and admins with access restrictions so they cannot receive the email with the reset code and exploit the vulnerability. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting'), Improper Authentication vulnerability in Soliloquy Team Slider by Soliloquy allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects Slider by Soliloquy: from n/a through 2.7.6. |
| Northern.tech Mender Enterprise before 3.6.4 and 3.7.x before 3.7.4 has Weak Authentication. |
| Chef InSpec versions up to 5.23 and before 7.0.107 creates named pipes with overly permissive default Windows access controls. A local attacker may interfere with the pipe connection process and exploit the insufficient access restrictions to assume the InSpec execution context, potentially resulting in elevated privileges or operational disruption.
This issue affects Chef Inspec: through 5.23 and before 7.0.107 |
| The web application uses a weak authentication mechanism to verify that a request is coming from an authenticated and authorized resource. |
| An unauthorized access vulnerability exists in the Xiaomi Mi Connect Service APP. The vulnerability is caused by the validation logic is flawed and can be exploited by attackers to Unauthorized access to the victim’s device. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Multilaser Sirius RE016 MLT1.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi of the component Password Change Handler. The manipulation leads to improper authentication. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A SAML library not dependent on any frameworks that runs in Node. In version 5.0.1, Node-SAML loads the assertion from the (unsigned) original response document. This is different than the parts that are verified when checking signature. This allows an attacker to modify authentication details within a valid SAML assertion. For example, in one attack it is possible to remove any character from the SAML assertion username. To conduct the attack an attacker would need a validly signed document from the identity provider (IdP). This is fixed in version 5.1.0. |

| A vulnerability was found in Apeman ID71 218.53.203.117. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file /onvif/device_service of the component ONVIF Service. Performing manipulation results in missing authentication. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A Improper Authentication vulnerability in TLP allows local users to arbitrarily control the power
profile in use as well as the daemon’s log settings. This issue affects TLP: from 1.9 before 1.9.1. |
| IPP software prior to v1.71 is vulnerable to default credential vulnerability. This could
lead attackers to identify and access vulnerable systems. |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability could allow an attacker to access API functions without authentication. |
