CVSS v3.1 |
| The AsyncHttpClient (AHC) library allows Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process HTTP responses. Prior to 3.0.13 and 2.16.1, ThreadSafeCookieStore validates Domain attributes with domain matching but does not reject public suffixes. A host beneath a suffix such as co.uk can set a cookie for that suffix, after which the shared cookie store sends it to unrelated hosts under the suffix. This can inject or overwrite session-relevant cookie values across origins. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.13 and 2.16.1. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in the legacy Blowfish decryption routine (BlowFishEncryptor::DecryptFromString) in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.0.0 through 6.3.3 on Windows allows a local interactive user with no hMailServer credentials to write bytes of their choosing past the end of a 255-byte heap buffer in the hMailServer service process, which runs as LocalSystem by default. The user does this by passing a long hexadecimal string to the COM method Utilities.BlowfishDecrypt, which checked no authentication. The routine converted hexadecimal input of any length into a fixed 255-byte buffer before decrypting it in place. The result is a denial of service (service crash), and possibly code execution with the privileges of the service account. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlegacy: fix broadcast stations deallocation
On the error path of __il4965_up(), il_dealloc_bcast_stations() clears
only IL_STA_UCODE_ACTIVE, leaving IL_STA_BCAST set. This causes the
same broadcast stations to be deallocated again by __il4965_down().
This can occur when RF_KILL is toggled during driver startup.
To fix clear the entire 'used' field, since we will not do any
other operations on the station. |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. |
| A heap-based out-of-bounds read in the BufferSerializerIOv2_ReadBuffer function (src/serializers/serializer_io.c) in FalkorDB before 4.18.4 allows a remote attacker who can issue Redis replication commands (for example, against an instance with no password configured) to cause a denial of service or disclose heap memory by supplying a crafted RDB stream whose sub-buffer length field exceeds the remaining buffer size. The only bounds check is an ASSERT(), which is compiled out in release builds, so memcpy() reads past the end of the heap allocation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mwifiex: validate scan response extents
mwifiex_ret_802_11_scan() subtracts the fixed response fields and the
firmware-provided BSS length from resp->size without first proving that
either extent fits. A short response or oversized BSS length can
therefore underflow tlv_buf_size and make the TLV parser walk beyond the
command response.
Compute the fixed extent from the selected normal or background scan
response. Validate that the fixed fields and BSS data fit before deriving
the TLV extent and entering the parser. |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the g_key_file_get_locale_string_list function in the gkeyfile.c file when loading a key file with an empty value. This flaw can cause an out-of-bounds access of 1 byte or a denial of service when the out-of-bounds access crosses a page boundary. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: p54: validate curve data length in the calibration curve converters
p54_convert_rev0() and p54_convert_rev1() read calibration curve
data from the device-supplied EEPROM entry using channel and
points-per-channel counts taken verbatim from that same entry, so
an entry that declares more data than it carries drives an
out-of-bounds read past the EEPROM buffer (verified with a KASAN
reproducer of the conversion loop). The sibling converters
p54_convert_output_limits() and p54_convert_db() already validate
their counts against the entry length; this path was missed.
Reject the entry when the counts do not fit in the entry data. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend package is affected by scaffolder action input authorization bypass. An authenticated user with access to affected Scaffolder templates could bypass configured action restrictions. Depending on integration credentials, this could grant unauthorized access to repositories and related source-control resources. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0. |
| Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to 2.23.3, Platform.parseSSR() passed an unbounded User-Agent request header to getMatch() in ui/src/plugins/platform/Platform.js, whose browser-detection expressions combined greedy captures with repeated unbounded scans. Platform belongs to autoInstalledPlugins, so this parsing occurs before routing for every SSR request. A crafted unauthenticated request containing repeated version tokens without a terminating Safari token causes super-linear backtracking and blocks the Node.js event loop, delaying every other SSR request. SPA, PWA, Electron, Cordova, Capacitor, browser-extension, and static-site-generation targets are not affected because they do not parse an attacker-controlled request header through this path. This issue is fixed in version 2.23.3. |
| A flaw was found in GIMP’s X cursor (XMC) thumbnail loader. When GIMP generates a thumbnail for a crafted XMC file, it allocates a pixel buffer using a width * height size computed in 32-bit signed arithmetic. If that product overflows, the allocation is smaller than the true image extent. A subsequent GEGL buffer read uses the unwrapped dimensions and performs an out-of-bounds read on the heap, after integer overflow in the size calculation. This can crash GIMP or corrupt process memory. |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, a crafted request to the public first-register operation can execute code remotely when local authentication is enabled and no initial user has been created. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. |
| Microsoft UFO is an open-source framework for intelligent automation across devices and platforms. Prior to 3.0.9, the run_shell tool in the CommandLineExecutor component of ufo/client/mcp/local_servers/cli_mcp_server.py validates only the first token of the bash_command parameter and permits explorer.exe. On Windows, explorer.exe delegates its following path argument to ShellExecute, so an attacker-influenced agent call can launch an arbitrary executable or script as the desktop user even though the subprocess uses shell=False. Exploitation depends on a user running an affected agent workflow and on inducing the tool call, but successful execution can access or modify that user's files, tokens, and sessions. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.9. |
| A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption. |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to trigger a heap overflow by providing a specially crafted tar archive. The issue occurs during the parsing of a PAX extended header containing a malformed SUN.holesdata sparse-file attribute. Successful exploitation could lead to a denial of service, making the system unavailable, or potentially allow for arbitrary code execution, giving the attacker control over the affected system. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in vllm-project vLLM up to 0.31.0. This impacts the function conv_ssm_forward of the file vllm/model_executor/layers/mamba/mamba_mixer2.py of the component Completions Request Handler. The manipulation leads to out-of-bounds read. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| fast-jwt provides fast JSON Web Token (JWT) implementation. Prior to 6.3.0, fast-jwt createVerifier accepts a validly signed JWT whose payload is a JSON array because src/decoder.js checks that the payload is an object but does not reject arrays. The claim validator loop then finds no named exp, nbf, iss, aud, sub, jti, or nonce properties and silently skips those configured checks, returning the array as a successfully verified payload. An attacker who can produce or influence a validly signed token may bypass expiry, issuer, audience, subject, revocation, and replay protections. The opt-in requiredClaims option can block missing claims, and signature verification itself is not bypassed. This issue is fixed in version 6.3.0. |
| A flaw was found in WildFly Elytron. Password hashing and verification normalize input with Unicode NFKC, which can collapse fullwidth characters to ASCII equivalents. A remote attacker can more easily guess affected passwords by using an ASCII-only dictionary against accounts whose passwords were intended to include those non-ASCII characters, leading to unauthorized access. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD's IdP authentication provider. The eval_access_token_buf() function compares the OIDC subject identifier using strncmp() with the authenticated user's identifier length, performing a prefix comparison instead of an exact match. An attacker whose IdP identifier is a strict prefix of a target user's identifier can authenticate as the target user. |
| SumatraPDF is a multi-format reader for Windows. In 3.6.1 and earlier, ChmFile::GetCharZ() narrows file-controlled unsigned string offsets from /#WINDOWS and /#IVB to signed integers without a lower-bound check. An offset that becomes negative can make the function read before the /#STRINGS buffer, causing deterministic application termination. No broader impact is claimed beyond the advisory-supported conditions. No fixed version is available as of this review. |
