CVSS v3.1 |
| The default installations of Apache Tomcat 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive system information such as directory listings and web root path, via erroneous HTTP requests for Java Server Pages (JSP) in the (1) test/jsp, (2) samples/jsp and (3) examples/jsp directories, or the (4) test/realPath.jsp servlet, which leaks pathnames in error messages. |
| A cross-site scripting vulnerability in Apache Tomcat 3.2.1 allows a malicious webmaster to embed Javascript in a request for a .JSP file, which causes the Javascript to be inserted into an error message. |
| The byte-range filter in Apache 2.0 before 2.0.54 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via an HTTP header with a large Range field. |
| ssl_engine_kernel.c in mod_ssl before 2.8.24, when using "SSLVerifyClient optional" in the global virtual host configuration, does not properly enforce "SSLVerifyClient require" in a per-location context, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions. |
| phf CGI program allows remote command execution through shell metacharacters. |
| Jakarta Tomcat 5.0.19 (Coyote/1.1) and Tomcat 4.1.24 (Coyote/1.0) allows remote attackers to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks via an HTTP request with both a "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" header and a Content-Length header, which causes Tomcat to incorrectly handle and forward the body of the request in a way that causes the receiving server to process it as a separate HTTP request, aka "HTTP Request Smuggling." |
| The Apache HTTP server before 1.3.34, and 2.0.x before 2.0.55, when acting as an HTTP proxy, allows remote attackers to poison the web cache, bypass web application firewall protection, and conduct XSS attacks via an HTTP request with both a "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" header and a Content-Length header, which causes Apache to incorrectly handle and forward the body of the request in a way that causes the receiving server to process it as a separate HTTP request, aka "HTTP Request Smuggling." |
| The default installation of Apache Tomcat 4.0 through 4.1 and 3.0 through 3.3.1 allows remote attackers to obtain the installation path and other sensitive system information via the (1) SnoopServlet or (2) TroubleShooter example servlets. |
| Buffer overflow in htdigest in Apache 2.0.52 may allow attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long realm argument. NOTE: since htdigest is normally only locally accessible and not setuid or setgid, there are few attack vectors which would lead to an escalation of privileges, unless htdigest is executed from a CGI program. Therefore this may not be a vulnerability. |
| The servlet engine in Jakarta Apache Tomcat 3.3 and 4.0.4, when using IIS and the ajp1.3 connector, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a large number of HTTP GET requests for an MS-DOS device such as AUX, LPT1, CON, or PRN. |
| The default configuration of Jakarta Tomcat does not restrict access to the /admin context, which allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by directly calling the administrative servlets to add a context for the root directory. |
| Off-by-one error in the mod_ssl Certificate Revocation List (CRL) verification callback in Apache, when configured to use a CRL, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (child process crash) via a CRL that causes a buffer overflow of one null byte. |
| Apache SpamAssassin 3.0.1, 3.0.2, and 3.0.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption and slowdown) via a message with a long Content-Type header without any boundaries. |
| A default configuration of Apache on Debian GNU/Linux sets the ServerRoot to /usr/doc, which allows remote users to read documentation files for the entire server. |
| Apache Tomcat before 5.x allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted AJP12 packet to TCP port 8007. |
| mod_cgi in Apache 2.0.39 and 2.0.40 allows local users and possibly remote attackers to cause a denial of service (hang and memory consumption) by causing a CGI script to send a large amount of data to stderr, which results in a read/write deadlock between httpd and the CGI script. |
| Apache 1.3.20 with Multiviews enabled allows remote attackers to view directory contents and bypass the index page via a URL containing the "M=D" query string. |
| Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Camel LevelDB component.
The Camel-LevelDB DefaultLevelDBSerializer class deserializes data read from the LevelDB aggregation repository using java.io.ObjectInputStream without applying any ObjectInputFilter or class-loading restrictions. An attacker who can write to the LevelDB database files used by a Camel application can inject a crafted serialized Java object that, when deserialized during normal aggregation repository operations, results in arbitrary code execution in the context of the application.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.10.0 before 4.10.8, from 4.14.0 before 4.14.5, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.18.0, which fixes the issue. For the 4.10.x LTS releases, users are recommended to upgrade to 4.10.9, while for 4.14.x LTS releases, users are recommended to upgrade to 4.14.5 |
| Apache Airflow versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.8 DagRun wait endpoint returns XCom result values even to users who only have DAG Run read permissions, such as the Viewer role. This behavior conflicts with the FAB RBAC model, which treats XCom as a separate protected resource, and with the security model documentation that defines the Viewer role as read-only.
Airflow uses the FAB Auth Manager to manage access control on a per-resource basis. The Viewer role is intended to be read-only by default, and the security model documentation defines Viewer users as those who can inspect DAGs without accessing sensitive execution results.
Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Airflow 3.2.0 which resolves this issue. |
| Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') vulnerability in Apache Tomcat via invalid chunk extension.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.18, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.52, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.115, from 8.5.0 through 8.5.100, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.109.
Other, unsupported versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.20, 10.1.52 or 9.0.116, which fix the issue. |
