CVSS v3.1 |
| An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the Fireware OS login process (wgagent) allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted request. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. In configurations where the autofs responder service is enabled, memory allocated during successful request processing is not released until the client connection terminates. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by maintaining an open connection and repeatedly submitting valid requests, leading to memory exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| Allocation of resources without limits in password-based private-key decryption (PbeUtilities.GenerateCipherParameters) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows an attacker who can supply an encrypted private key, such as a PKCS#8 EncryptedPrivateKeyInfo or "ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY" PEM file, to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion via an iteration count close to 2^31, because the count is taken from the unauthenticated algorithm parameters without an upper bound and the key derivation runs before the password or the data can be checked. PKCS#5 PBES1 and PBES2 (PBKDF2), the PKCS#12 PBE algorithms and CMS password recipients (CmsPbeKey) are affected. Loading PKCS#12 files with Pkcs12Store is covered by CVE-2026-63572, and a zero or negative count with the PKCS#12 algorithms by CVE-2026-63575. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0840, runtime/plugin/netrwPlugin.vim loads netrw and runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim constructs Bookmarks, History, and Targets menu entries by interpolating attacker-controlled directory paths into executed :menu commands. s:NetrwBookmarkMenu(), s:NetrwTgtMenu(), g:netrw_menu_escape, EX_TRLBAR, and netrw#MakeTgt() fail to neutralize the | command separator or single quotes at five construction sites, allowing a crafted path browsed or bookmarked in GUI Vim to execute arbitrary Ex and operating-system commands. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0840. |
| Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, the chunked media upload RPC validates that a chunk index is in range but neither rejects an already stored index nor replaces its previous object. An authenticated user can repeatedly upload the same valid index, causing each successful request to allocate another temporary object and increasing stored bytes beyond the upload session's declared logical size. Assembly detects the inconsistent chunk count only after allocation. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0. |
| Seroval facilitates JS value stringification, including complex structures beyond JSON.stringify capabilities. Prior to 1.6.3, deserializeTypedArray in fromJSON and fromCrossJSON trusts a deserialized source value as an ArrayBuffer and does not bound the serialized element count. An attacker can provide a small untrusted JSON object with a large length value, causing the array-like TypedArray constructor to synchronously allocate the selected number of elements and exhaust CPU or memory while starving the event loop. The offset check does not reject the crafted source because source.byteLength is undefined. DataView reaches a similar unchecked cast but throws rather than allocating, and the issue has no identified confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.3. |
| A flaw was found in Undertow where malformed client requests can trigger server-side stream resets without triggering abuse counters. This issue, referred to as the "MadeYouReset" attack, allows malicious clients to induce excessive server workload by repeatedly causing server-side stream aborts. While not a protocol bug, this highlights a common implementation weakness that can be exploited to cause a denial of service (DoS). |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130) |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.30.0, a caller can use the request-level media_io_kwargs field to select the GLMGA video backend and supply large values for the fps and max_frames options without a strict work ceiling. GLMGA constructs and deduplicates an attacker-sized pre-decode frame-index list, allowing a compact request and tiny valid video to consume disproportionate CPU time and memory in the shared media-loading executor. This issue is fixed in version 0.30.0. |
| js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. Prior to 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1, YAML11_SCHEMA support for the !!omap tag in src/tag/sequence/omap.ts uses omapTag.addItem() to perform a linear duplicate-key scan on every insertion, causing O(n^2) CPU consumption when yaml.load() parses a crafted ordered-map document. In v3 and v4, !!omap is active and exploitable by default. v5 doesn't use !!omap by default, and the chances of activating it are very low. This issue is fixed in 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix the possible bioc_list memory leak during error
There are two possible ways to leak bioc memory on
btrfs_ordered_extent::bioc_list:
- An error occurred for btrfs_insert_one_raid_extent()
Then the function btrfs_insert_raid_extent() immediately return
without freeing any bioc in the bioc_list.
- An ordered extent hit an IO error
In that case the ordered extent will have BTRFS_ORDERED_IOERR set, and
skip the call on btrfs_insert_raid_extent() completely.
Fix the problem by:
- Introduce a new helper, btrfs_cleanup_ordered_bioc_list()
Which will remove all bioc from the bioc_list, and release the bioc.
- Call the above helper for btrfs_insert_raid_extent()
So that the cleanup helper is always called no matter what.
- Call the above helper for btrfs_finish_one_ordered()
This is called just before the final release on the ordered extent.
This was reported by Sashiko when reviewing another patch. |
| Apache XmlSchema doesn't limit how deeply schema imports and includes can be nested, so a malicious schema can make parsing recurse until the stack overflows. This causes a denial of service.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.3.3, which fixes this issue. |
| Apache XmlSchema doesn't limit how deeply schema structures can be nested when it builds its schema model, so a malicious schema can make parsing recurse until the stack overflows. This causes a denial of service.

| Ash stores :atom-typed attributes as strings and compares them as strings. When such an attribute is referenced in a filter, the comparison value is coerced through Ash.Type.Atom. Because the type defined no coerce/2 callback, coercion fell back to the default (cast_input/2), which calls String.to_atom/1 when the attribute is configured with the unsafe_to_atom?: true constraint.
Filtering such an attribute with attacker-controlled strings therefore interned a new, permanent atom for every distinct value. Atoms are never garbage collected and the BEAM caps the atom table, so an actor who can supply filter values for a public, filterable :atom attribute declared with unsafe_to_atom?: true can exhaust the atom table and crash the node (denial of service). AshPaperTrail is a notable example: its version resources expose a public, filterable version_action_name atom attribute with unsafe_to_atom?: true by default.
The fix adds a coerce/2 to Ash.Type.Atom that never interns atoms — a comparison value is left as a string, since the type is stored and compared as a string. Setting the attribute from action input (cast_input/2, which still honors unsafe_to_atom?) is unchanged.
This issue affects ash: from 3.5.1 before 3.34.3. |
| A vulnerability in the API endpoint of HPE Networking Instant ON APs could allow an authenticated remote attacker with high privileges to conduct a server-side request forgery (SSRF) attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in TOTOLINK X6000R 9.4.0cu.652_B20230116. The impacted element is the function firmware_check of the file /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi of the component UploadFirmwareFile Handler. Such manipulation of the argument file_name leads to os command injection. The attack may be performed from remote. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. An unprivileged local user can repeatedly request lookups for nonexistent entries through the Name Service Switch (NSS) responder. Because the negative cache does not limit the total number of stored entries and only removes expired records when an existing key is rechecked, the cache can grow without bound. This behavior can lead to memory exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) as the responder becomes unresponsive or terminates. |
| A vulnerability was found in yogeshojha reNgine up to 2.2.0. Affected by this vulnerability is the function subdomain_discovery of the file web/reNgine/tasks.py of the component listTargets Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument Name results in os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in the Elixir standard library's Version module allows an attacker who controls a version string to cause a denial of service through CPU and memory exhaustion.
The version parser converts numeric version components (major, minor, patch and numeric pre-release/build identifiers) to integers without bounding their length. A single large all-digit component therefore forces a super-linear, non-yielding base-10 to arbitrary-precision integer conversion (String.to_integer/1, i.e. :erlang.binary_to_integer/1) that pins a BEAM scheduler, and a larger component raises an uncaught SystemLimitError that crashes the calling process. A single moderately sized string (around one megabyte) is enough; no authentication is required.
This is reachable from the public entry points Version.parse/1, Version.parse!/1, Version.match?/3, Version.compare/2, and Version.parse_requirement/1, which applications routinely call on untrusted input such as HTTP parameters, dependency-manifest fields, and package metadata.
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/version.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Version.Parser':parse_digits/2.
This issue affects elixir: from 0.9.3 before 1.20.1. |
| Mooncake transfer engine through 0.3.13.post1 contains a memory exhaustion vulnerability in TransferMetadata::receivePeerNotify that allows unauthenticated attackers to grow process memory without limit. Attackers can repeatedly send notify frames up to 1 MB to the handshake RPC port, filling the uncapped notifys vector until the out-of-memory killer terminates the engine. |
