pdfforge PDF Architect activation-service Update Service Uncontrolled Search Path Element Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of pdfforge PDF Architect. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the activation-service process. The product loads a library from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-29536.
CVE-2026-37008 1 Crewai 1 Crewai 2026-09-15 8.1 High
CrewAI before fb2323b offers a Python blocklist approach that operates at the wrong level of abstraction, a different vulnerability than CVE-2026-2275. Import-time blocking of module names does not address the availability of Python's complete object graph. For example, calling ctypes.CDLL(None) loads the C library without relying in any import statements. In other words, a within-process sandbox cannot merely account for the import system and instead must account for the complete runtime of the Python interpreter.
CVE-2026-36453 1 Rhymix 1 Rhymix 2026-09-15 7.4 High
Rhymix before 2.1.31 allows insecure direct object reference, aka RVE-2026-1. Arbitrary files can be accessed via extra variables.

Photoshop Desktop is affected by an Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. Scope is changed.
CVE-2026-81192 1 Opentelemetry 1 Opentelemetry-dotnet-contrib 2026-09-11 7 High
`OpenTelemetry.Resources.Host` NuGet package, which provides OpenTelemetry resource detectors for host, is affected by an untrusted search path vulnerability on macOS. Prior to version 1.16.0-beta.2, the `host.id` resource attribute detector launches the `sh` and `ioreg` executables by bare name rather than by absolute path, so both are resolved through the `PATH` environment variable. A local attacker who is less privileged than the host application, and who can influence `PATH` or write to a directory that appears in `PATH` ahead of the system directories, can have an arbitrary binary executed in the application's security context, resulting in local code execution/privilege escalation. This vulnerability only affect macOS hosts - Linux and Windows hosts are unaffected. Version 1.16.0-beta.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2026-0307 1 Palo Alto Networks 1 Globalprotect App 2026-09-10 N/A
Multiple local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect™ app allows a local user to escalate their privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM on Windows and root on macOS and Linux. This enables a non-administrative user to execute arbitrary commands with administrative privileges. This GlobalProtect app on iOS, Android and ChromeOS is not impacted.
CVE-2026-87530 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-09-09 8.1 High
Uncontrolled search path element in CredentialProvider in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-87443 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-09 6.5 Medium
Missing authorization in Actor in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-0294 4 Apple, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks and 1 more 4 Macos, Windows, Prisma Access Agent and 1 more 2026-09-09 7.8 High
A privilege escalation (PE) vulnerability in the Palo Alto Networks Prisma® Access Agent app on Windows and macOS devices enables a local user to execute code with elevated privileges. The Prisma Access Agent on Linux, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS is not affected.
CVE-2026-86145 1 Pcre 1 Pcre2 2026-09-09 8.2 High
PCRE2 before 10.48 allows a pcre2_dfa_match out-of-bounds write because reuse of a cached workspace block, in a recursive DFA matching workspace, lacks a size check (even though a newly allocated block, for the same purpose, does have a size check). This outcome requires an attacker-controlled regular expression, or a recursive pattern in conjunction with a small heap limit (this can be set through the API).
CVE-2026-39883 1 Opentelemetry 2 Opentelemetry, Opentelemetry-go 2026-09-09 7 High
OpenTelemetry-Go is the Go implementation of OpenTelemetry. From 1.15.0 to 1.42.0, the fix for CVE-2026-24051 changed the Darwin ioreg command to use an absolute path but left the BSD kenv command using a bare name, allowing the same PATH hijacking attack on BSD and Solaris platforms. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.43.0.
CVE-2026-84226 1 Openvpn 1 Openvpn 2026-09-08 7.8 High
OpenVPN version 2.5.0 through 2.6.22 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 on Windows allows local authenticated users to perform a binary planting attack during network configuration steps
CVE-2026-82754 1 Ash-project 1 Ash Authentication Oauth2 Server 2026-09-08 N/A
Improper Protection of Alternate Path vulnerability in ash-project ash_authentication_oauth2_server exposes the state-changing OAuth endpoints under an unintended URL prefix, bypassing controls scoped to the canonical prefix. oauth2_server_protocol_routes/1 in AshAuthentication.Phoenix.Oauth2Server.Router forwards the same ProtocolRouter at both the /oauth prefix and the /.well-known prefix. Phoenix forward strips the matched prefix before dispatch, so the full route table answers under both mounts, and POST /register, POST /token, and POST /revoke are reachable as /.well-known/register, /.well-known/token, and /.well-known/revoke. Edge controls such as WAF rules, rate limits, or authentication exemptions written against the /oauth paths, or that allow-list /.well-known as unauthenticated, do not apply to the alias. This issue affects ash_authentication_oauth2_server: from 0.1.0 before 0.3.1.
CVE-2026-82586 1 Ash-project 1 Ash Lua 2026-09-08 N/A
Improper Protection of Alternate Path vulnerability in ash-project ash_lua allows a user-supplied Lua script to read attributes that are not on the exposed-field allow-list. AshLua exposes Ash resources to Lua scripts, gated by a manifest declaring which fields are exposed. The read action's operation aggregate path in AshLua.Runtime took the field name straight from the Lua call and resolved it with only String.to_existing_atom and Ash.Query.Aggregate.new!, neither of which consults the exposed-field allow-list the normal fields path enforces. A script can therefore read the value of any attribute of any record the actor may read, including private sensitive?: true columns, via resource.read({ operation = {"list", "hashed_password"} }); min and max give a value oracle. Anyone able to submit or influence a Lua script can reach this. This issue affects ash_lua: from 0.1.0 before 0.2.1.
CVE-2026-0299 2 Palo Alto Networks, Paloaltonetworks 2 Globalprotect App, Globalprotect 2026-09-03 7.8 High
Local privilege escalation vulnerabilities in the Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect™ app enable a local user to escalate their privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM on Windows, and root on macOS and Linux. This enables a non-administrative user to execute arbitrary commands with administrative privileges. The GlobalProtect app on iOS, Android, and Chrome OS is not affected.
CVE-2026-19590 1 Openai 2 Codex Desktop, Codex Desktop (microsoft Store Package) 2026-09-03 7.3 High
OpenAI Codex Desktop for Windows and macOS could execute attacker-controlled Git hooks because automated Git operations trusted the repository's local core.hooksPath setting. If a user opens an attacker-prepared repository whose preserved .git/config points core.hooksPath to an attacker-controlled directory, Codex can run a malicious hook while processing the repository. The hook executes outside Codex's command sandbox, without user approval, and with the user's privileges, allowing it to read, change, or delete the user's files and access other resources available to the user's account. An ordinary Git clone does not preserve the attacker-controlled repository-local configuration required for exploitation.
CVE-2026-84323 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-03 5.3 Medium
Missing authorization in FileSystem in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process and leveraged social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
