CVSS v3.1 |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in RPC Runtime allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Portable Device MTP Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges with a physical attack. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Universal Disk Format File System Driver (UDFS) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Improper resolution of path equivalence in WebDAV allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mmc: mtk-sd: Cancel request timeout work on remove
The driver queues req_timeout while a request is active.
msdc_request_done() uses cancel_delayed_work(), which does not wait for
a timeout callback that has already started.
The timeout callback calls mmc_request_done(), which wakes the request
waiter, and then continues to use host->dev_comp and check the SDIO IRQ.
During unbind, msdc_drv_remove() can return and the managed mmc_host can
be freed before the callback finishes.
KASAN reported use-after-free accesses in msdc_request_done() and
msdc_recheck_sdio_irq() in each of three unbind tests. The same tests
completed without a kernel diagnostic after this change.
Call cancel_delayed_work_sync() after mmc_remove_host() has stopped new
requests and before the driver releases the host resources. |
| XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileChooser.SaveFiles method to gain arbitrary file access to non-existing files on the host (limited to files the user has access to). The FileChooser.SaveFiles method takes optional filenames which get appended to the selected directory by backends. The backends are supposed to check that the file does not exist yet. The filenames are not validated by the frontend and also not by common backends. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1. |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Windows Update allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in Windows Update allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Untrusted search path in Windows Update allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Double free in Windows Kerberos allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Windows Backup Engine allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/mm: Don't apply va_align to hugetlb mappings on AMD F15h
get_align_mask() returns huge_page_mask_align() for hugetlbfs, but get_align_bits()
adds va_align.bits regardless, so vm_unmapped_area() returns an address off the huge
page boundary and __unmap_hugepage_range() hits BUG_ON(start & ~huge_page_mask(h)) at
teardown.
This can be triggered on Carrizo and FX-8370E, both hstates.
Pass the file to get_align_bits() and skip the randomisation for hugetlbfs.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
EDAC/altera: Drop __init from ECC setup paths for re-probe safety
Sashiko reports:
"Does suppressing sysfs unbinding fully prevent the execution of freed __init
memory? If altr_sysmgr_regmap_lookup_by_phandle() returns -EPROBE_DEFER, the
probe is deferred until after __init memory is freed."
The a10 EDAC .setup callbacks (sdmmc, ethernet, nand, dma, usb, qspi) and
their helpers (altr_init_a10_ecc_device_type, altr_init_a10_ecc_block) were
marked __init. These run from the probe path, which may execute after init
memory is freed -- e.g. a probe deferred via -EPROBE_DEFER that only succeeds
once a late/module dependency appears, or a manual unbind/rebind. Calling
__init code then dereferences freed memory. Remove __init so these functions
remain valid at runtime. |
