CVSS v3.1 |
| CairoSVG is an SVG converter based on Cairo, a 2D graphics library. Prior to 2.9.1, rendering an attacker-controlled SVG with a path containing many segments can cause quadratic CPU consumption in cairosvg/path.py. The path tokenizer repeatedly slices and rescans the remaining path data, while draw_markers drains node.vertices with node.vertices.pop(0), causing repeated linear-time work. The svg2png, svg2pdf, and svg2ps APIs reach these operations during ordinary rendering, allowing a sub-megabyte SVG to consume substantial CPU and deny service to a rendering application. This issue is fixed in version 2.9.1. |
| Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.7 and 2.52.0, the local web_fetch_tool and the WebFetch local fallback can consume excessive CPU and memory during HTML-to-Markdown conversion of attacker-controlled HTML containing deeply nested block elements. Conversion repeatedly reprocesses accumulated text and can greatly expand intermediate output before the returned-content limit is applied, allowing a model-directed fetch to delay other work in the process. Provider-native web fetching is not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.7 and 2.52.0. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-31 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to disrupt processing by supplying a crafted XMP profile. Attackers can embed a malicious XMP profile that triggers a failure when determining the numerator and denominator, crashing or hanging image processing. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-55 and 7.x before 7.1.2-30 contains a security policy bypass in the MAT decoder, which does not enforce configured temporary file size limits when reading highly compressed data. Attackers can supply a crafted MAT image whose decompressed data is written to temporary files larger than the policy allows, consuming disk resources. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-56 and 7.x before 7.1.2-31 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the MVG decoder caused by a missing limit check. Attackers can supply a crafted MVG image that triggers a long-running decoding operation, consuming excessive CPU resources and stalling image processing. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-55 and 7.x before 7.1.2-30 contains a denial of service vulnerability in its handling of XMP profiles, where a crafted profile terminates the process instead of raising an exception. Attackers can supply images with malicious XMP profiles to crash applications that process them using ImageMagick. |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper memoization of GraphQL fragment spreads. |
| music-metadata is a metadata parser for audio and video media files. Prior to 11.15.0, the DSF parser handles an unrecognized chunk by calling tokenizer.ignore without awaiting the returned promise and without first rejecting a chunk size smaller than the 12-byte chunk header. A crafted DSF input can produce a negative ignore length; with strtok3 10.3.5 or later, the resulting RangeError is detached from the parseBuffer promise and becomes an unhandled rejection under Node.js default behavior. The parse call can appear to resolve before the process crashes, bypassing per-parse try/catch handling. The demonstrated impact is availability loss only and requires the DSF parsing path. This issue is fixed in version 11.15.0. |
| Pydantic AI is a Python agent framework for building applications and workflows with Generative AI. From 1.77.0 until 1.107.2 and 2.24.0, web_fetch_tool, the WebFetch local fallback, and remote FileUrl media downloads buffer the complete HTTP response body before enforcing content-size controls. An attacker-influenced URL can stream an arbitrarily large response that exhausts process memory and crashes the worker; affected media types include ImageUrl, DocumentUrl, VideoUrl, and AudioUrl. SSRF protections remain effective, and the impact is limited to availability. This issue is fixed in versions 1.107.2 and 2.24.0. |
| Fresh is a module used by the Express.js framework for HTTP response freshness testing. It is vulnerable to a regular expression denial of service when it is passed specially crafted input to parse. This causes the event loop to be blocked causing a denial of service condition. |
| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, and 10.0.10, a low-privileged user that does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could cause a denial of service against a Representational State Transfer (REST) API endpoint in the Discover Splunk Observability Cloud app. The vulnerability is possible because the app uses an inefficient regular expression to validate input submitted through the endpoint. For more information see About configuring role-based user access (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/about-configuring-role-based-user-access), Splunk Observability Cloud previews (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/search/search-manual/10.4/observability/splunk-observability-cloud-previews), and restmap.conf (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/admin-manual/10.4/configuration-file-reference/10.4.0-configuration-file-reference/restmap.conf) in the Splunk documentation.
Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4.x are not affected. |
| An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Fireware OS's diagnostic tasks feature allows a low-privileged, authenticated user to cause a denial of service of the system's diagnostic tools by repeatedly starting and aborting a specially crafted diagnostic task through the web UI. |
| libiberty/rust-demangle.c in GNU GCC 11.2 allows stack consumption in demangle_const, as demonstrated by nm-new. |
| Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts. When a request parameter is bound to an arbitrary-precision decimal (java.math.BigDecimal) property that is then rendered through the Struts tag library, the framework can produce a response many orders of magnitude larger than the request, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU and outbound network capacity with sustained low-volume traffic. Applications that do not bind request parameters to BigDecimal properties, or never render such a property through the Struts tag library, are not affected.
This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.5.14 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.11.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.3.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.12.0 or 7.4.0, which fixes the issue. |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.2.2 is affected by a denial-of-service vulnerability in the edge-controller. An unauthenticated remote attacker with network access to the edge-controller gRPC service can provide malformed task data that triggers an unchecked type assertion, causing the edge-controller process to terminate unexpectedly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: fix dma mapping leak in stmmac_tso_xmit()
In stmmac_tso_xmit(), if the DMA mapping of an skb fragment fails, the
frame is dropped but the DMA mappings already created for the linear
part and for the fragments mapped before the failure are never
unmapped, leaking DMA mappings.
Fix the leak by walking back over the descriptors used by the frame and
releasing each of them with stmmac_free_tx_buffer(). Moreover, release
the descriptors with stmmac_release_tx_desc() unmapping the DMA buffers. |
| league/commonmark from 2.0.0 before 2.10.2 contains a quadratic-time denial of service vulnerability in the GitHub Flavored Markdown Table extension's TableStartParser::tryStart() block-start scan. Unauthenticated attackers can submit a large paragraph of pipe-free lines not starting with letters, forcing repeated full-buffer strpos scans that exhaust PHP worker CPU. |
| A vulnerability exists in the ArubaOS bootloader on 7xxx series controllers which can result in a denial of service (DoS) condition on an impacted system. A successful attacker can cause a system hang which can only be resolved via a power cycle of the impacted controller.
|
| league/commonmark versions before 2.9.1 contain multiple denial of service vulnerabilities in fenced code block detection, reference link label lookup, and emphasis delimiter processing that perform super-linear work on crafted input. Attackers can submit specially crafted Markdown with long backtick runs, nested brackets, or delimiter sequences to consume disproportionate CPU time and prevent legitimate requests from completing. |
| SvelteKit (@sveltejs/kit) versions >=2.49.0 and <=2.52.1 with experimental remote functions (experimental.remoteFunctions) and form enabled contain a memory exhaustion vulnerability in remote form deserialization. Malformed form data can cause excessive memory allocation, crashing the server process and resulting in denial of service. Fixed in 2.52.2. |
