| CVE-2026-53101 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7921: fix potential deadlock in mt7921_roc_abort_sync roc_abort_sync() can deadlock with roc_work(). roc_work() holds dev->mt76.mutex, while cancel_work_sync() waits for roc_work() to finish. If the caller already owns the same mutex, both sides block and no progress is possible. This deadlock can occur during station removal when mt76_sta_state() -> mt76_sta_remove() -> mt7921_mac_sta_remove() -> mt7921_roc_abort_sync() invokes cancel_work_sync() while roc_work() is still running and holding dev->mt76.mutex. This avoids the mutex deadlock and preserves exactly-once work ownership. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: disable BH before calling udp_tunnel_xmit_skb() udp_tunnel_xmit_skb() / udp_tunnel6_xmit_skb() are expected to run with BH disabled. After commit 6f1a9140ecda ("add xmit recursion limit to tunnel xmit functions"), on the path: udp(6)_tunnel_xmit_skb() -> ip(6)tunnel_xmit() dev_xmit_recursion_inc()/dec() must stay balanced on the same CPU. Without local_bh_disable(), the context may move between CPUs, which can break the inc/dec pairing. This may lead to incorrect recursion level detection and cause packets to be dropped in ip(6)_tunnel_xmit() or __dev_queue_xmit(). Fix it by disabling BH around both IPv4 and IPv6 SCTP UDP xmit paths. In my testing, after enabling the SCTP over UDP: # ip net exec ha sysctl -w net.sctp.udp_port=9899 # ip net exec ha sysctl -w net.sctp.encap_port=9899 # ip net exec hb sysctl -w net.sctp.udp_port=9899 # ip net exec hb sysctl -w net.sctp.encap_port=9899 # ip net exec ha iperf3 -s - without this patch: # ip net exec hb iperf3 -c 192.168.0.1 --sctp [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 37.2 MBytes 31.2 Mbits/sec sender [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 37.1 MBytes 31.1 Mbits/sec receiver - with this patch: # ip net exec hb iperf3 -c 192.168.0.1 --sctp [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 3.14 GBytes 2.69 Gbits/sec sender [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 3.14 GBytes 2.69 Gbits/sec receiver | ||||

| CVE-2026-46252 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: core: fix locking in regulator_resolve_supply() error path If late enabling of a supply regulator fails in regulator_resolve_supply(), the code currently triggers a lockdep warning: WARNING: drivers/regulator/core.c:2649 at _regulator_put+0x80/0xa0, CPU#6: kworker/u32:4/596 ... Call trace: _regulator_put+0x80/0xa0 (P) regulator_resolve_supply+0x7cc/0xbe0 regulator_register_resolve_supply+0x28/0xb8 as the regulator_list_mutex must be held when calling _regulator_put(). To solve this, simply switch to using regulator_put(). While at it, we should also make sure that no concurrent access happens to our rdev while we clear out the supply pointer. Add appropriate locking to ensure that. While the code in question will be removed altogether in a follow-up commit, I believe it is still beneficial to have this corrected before removal for future reference. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46140 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btmtk: validate WMT event SKB length before struct access btmtk_usb_hci_wmt_sync() casts the WMT event response SKB data to struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt (7 bytes) and struct btmtk_hci_wmt_evt_funcc (9 bytes) without first checking that the SKB contains enough data. A short firmware response causes out-of-bounds reads from SKB tailroom. Use skb_pull_data() to validate and advance past the base WMT event header. For the FUNC_CTRL case, pull the additional status field bytes before accessing them. | ||||

| CVE-2026-43219 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: cpsw_new: Fix potential unregister of netdev that has not been registered yet If an error occurs during register_netdev() for the first MAC in cpsw_register_ports(), even though cpsw->slaves[0].ndev is set to NULL, cpsw->slaves[1].ndev would remain unchanged. This could later cause cpsw_unregister_ports() to attempt unregistering the second MAC. To address this, add a check for ndev->reg_state before calling unregister_netdev(). With this change, setting cpsw->slaves[i].ndev to NULL becomes unnecessary and can be removed accordingly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43010 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Reject sleepable kprobe_multi programs at attach time kprobe.multi programs run in atomic/RCU context and cannot sleep. However, bpf_kprobe_multi_link_attach() did not validate whether the program being attached had the sleepable flag set, allowing sleepable helpers such as bpf_copy_from_user() to be invoked from a non-sleepable context. This causes a "sleeping function called from invalid context" splat: BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at ./include/linux/uaccess.h:169 in_atomic(): 1, irqs_disabled(): 0, non_block: 0, pid: 1787, name: sudo preempt_count: 1, expected: 0 RCU nest depth: 2, expected: 0 Fix this by rejecting sleepable programs early in bpf_kprobe_multi_link_attach(), before any further processing. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31755 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: cdns3: gadget: fix NULL pointer dereference in ep_queue When the gadget endpoint is disabled or not yet configured, the ep->desc pointer can be NULL. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference when __cdns3_gadget_ep_queue() is called, causing a kernel crash. Add a check to return -ESHUTDOWN if ep->desc is NULL, which is the standard return code for unconfigured endpoints. This prevents potential crashes when ep_queue is called on endpoints that are not ready. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31732 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: Fix resource leaks on errors in gpiochip_add_data_with_key() Since commit aab5c6f20023 ("gpio: set device type for GPIO chips"), `gdev->dev.release` is unset. As a result, the reference count to `gdev->dev` isn't dropped on the error handling paths. Drop the reference on errors. Also reorder the instructions to make the error handling simpler. Now gpiochip_add_data_with_key() roughly looks like: >>> Some memory allocation. Go to ERR ZONE 1 on errors. >>> device_initialize(). gpiodev_release() takes over the responsibility for freeing the resources of `gdev->dev`. The subsequent error handling paths shouldn't go through ERR ZONE 1 again which leads to double free. >>> Some initialization mainly on `gdev`. >>> The rest of initialization. Go to ERR ZONE 2 on errors. >>> Chip registration success and exit. >>> ERR ZONE 2. gpio_device_put() and exit. >>> ERR ZONE 1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-23052 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-04 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ftrace: Do not over-allocate ftrace memory The pg_remaining calculation in ftrace_process_locs() assumes that ENTRIES_PER_PAGE multiplied by 2^order equals the actual capacity of the allocated page group. However, ENTRIES_PER_PAGE is PAGE_SIZE / ENTRY_SIZE (integer division). When PAGE_SIZE is not a multiple of ENTRY_SIZE (e.g. 4096 / 24 = 170 with remainder 16), high-order allocations (like 256 pages) have significantly more capacity than 256 * 170. This leads to pg_remaining being underestimated, which in turn makes skip (derived from skipped - pg_remaining) larger than expected, causing the WARN(skip != remaining) to trigger. Extra allocated pages for ftrace: 2 with 654 skipped WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7295 ftrace_process_locs+0x5bf/0x5e0 A similar problem in ftrace_allocate_records() can result in allocating too many pages. This can trigger the second warning in ftrace_process_locs(). Extra allocated pages for ftrace WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7276 ftrace_process_locs+0x548/0x580 Use the actual capacity of a page group to determine the number of pages to allocate. | CVE-2026-57272 | 1 Geovision Inc. | 1 Geowebplayer | 2026-07-03 | 8.3 High |
| GeoWebPlayer (also called "Web Plugin" in the GV-VMS documentation and "WS Player" for VMS-Cloud) is an addon that can be installed with various GeoVision software (GV-VMS, GV-Cloud, ...). It creates a websocket server that expands the capabilities of the various web-interfaces provided by the GeoVision software and may be necessary for them to function properly. The Websocket server can accept various commands coming from localhost. Many of the commands will take an `index` value that is then used to access various arrays to enter critical sections, perform various actions via function calls, etc. However the `index` value is usually not checked for valid range, and as such it can be used to access multiple arrays out-of-bound. #### byPass command index-out-of-bound | ||||
