CVSS v3.1 |
| CWE-59: Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability exists that could cause
arbitrary data to be written to protected locations, potentially leading to escalation of privilege, arbitrary file
corruption, exposure of application and system information or persistent denial of service when a low-privileged
attacker tampers with the installation folder. |
| Model Context Protocol Servers is a collection of reference implementations for the model context protocol (MCP). Versions of Filesystem prior to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 could allow access to unintended files via symlinks within allowed directories. Users are advised to upgrade to 0.6.4 or 2025.7.01 resolve. |
| @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend is the backend for the default Backstage software templates. Prior to version 2.1.1, duplicate logging of the input values in the fetch:template action in the Scaffolder meant that some of the secrets were not properly redacted. If ${{ secrets.x }} is not passed through to fetch:template there is no impact. This issue has been resolved in 2.1.1 of the scaffolder-backend plugin. A workaround for this issue involves Template Authors removing the use of ${{ secrets }} being used as an argument to fetch:template. |
| VaulTLS is a modern solution for managing mTLS (mutual TLS) certificates. Prior to 0.9.1, user accounts created through the User web UI have an empty but not NULL password set, attackers can use this to login with an empty password. This is combined with that fact, that previously disabling the password based login only effected the frontend, but still allowed login via the API. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.1. |
| GenX_FX is an advance IA trading platform that will focus on forex trading. A vulnerability was identified in the GenX FX backend where API keys and authentication tokens may be exposed if environment variables are misconfigured. Unauthorized users could gain access to cloud resources (Google Cloud, Firebase, GitHub, etc.). |
| color-string is a parser and generator for CSS color strings. On 8 September 2025, the npm publishing account for color-string was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 2.1.1 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. Local environments, server environments, command line applications, etc. are not affected. If the package was used in a browser context (e.g. a direct <script> inclusion, or via a bundling tool such as Babel, Rollup, Vite, Next.js, etc.) there is a chance the malware still exists and such bundles will need to be rebuilt. The malware seemingly only targets cryptocurrency transactions and wallets such as MetaMask. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September. On 13 September, the package owner published new patch versions to help cache-bust those using private registries who might still have the compromised version cached. This issue has been resolved in 2.1.2. |
| color is a Javascript color conversion and manipulation library. On 8 September 2025, the npm publishing account for color was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 5.0.1 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. The malware seemingly only targets cryptocurrency transactions and wallets such as MetaMask. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September, preventing further downloads from npm proper. On 13 September, the package owner published new patch versions to help cache-bust those using private registries who might still have the compromised version cached. Users should update to the latest patch version, completely remove their node_modules directory, clean their package manager's global cache, and rebuild any browser bundles from scratch. Those operating private registries or registry mirrors should purge the offending versions from any caches. This issues has been resolved in 5.0.2. |
| color-name is a JSON with CSS color names. On 8 September 2025, an npm publishing account for color-name was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 2.0.1 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. See references below for more information on the payload. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September, preventing further downloads from npm proper. This issue is resolved in 2.0.2. |
| color-convert provides plain color conversion functions in JavaScript. On 8 September 2025, the npm publishing account for color-convert was taken over after a phishing attack. Those operating private registries or registry mirrors should purge the offending versions from any caches. This issue is resolved in 3.1.2. |
| Access to TSplus Remote Access Admin Tool is restricted to administrators (unless "Disable UAC" option is enabled) and requires a PIN code. In versions below v18.40.6.17 the PIN's hash is stored in a system registry accessible to regular users, making it possible to perform a brute-force attack using rainbow tables, since the hash is not salted.
LTS (Long-Term Support) versions also received patches in v17.2025.6.27 and v16.2025.6.27 releases. |
| error-ex allows error subclassing and stack customization. On 8 September 2025, an npm publishing account for error-ex was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 1.3.3 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. | Insufficiently Protected Credentials in LDAP in Konica Minolta bizhub 227 Multifunction printers version GCQ-Y3 or earlier allows an attacker can reconfigure the target device to use an external LDAP service controlled by the attacker. If an LDAP password is set on the target device, the attacker can force the target device to authenticate to the attacker controlled LDAP service. This will allow the attacker to capture the plaintext password of the configured LDAP service. |
| Mobile Scanner Android App version 2.12.38 (package name com.glority.everlens), developed by Glority Global Group Ltd., contains a credential leakage vulnerability. Improper handling of cloud service credentials may allow attackers to obtain them and carry out unauthorized actions, such as sensitive information disclosure and abuse of cloud resources. Successful exploitation could result in privacy breaches and misuse of the platform infrastructure. |
| yt-grabber-tui is a terminal user interface application for downloading videos. In versions before 1.0-rc, the application allows users to configure the path to the yt-dlp executable via the path_to_yt_dlp configuration setting. An attacker with write access to the configuration file or the filesystem location of the configured executable can replace the executable with malicious code or create a symlink to an arbitrary executable. When the application invokes yt-dlp, the malicious code is executed with the privileges of the user running yt-grabber-tui. This vulnerability has been patched in version 1.0-rc. |
| text-generation-webui is an open-source web interface for running Large Language Models. In versions through 3.13, a Local File Inclusion vulnerability exists in the character picture upload feature. An attacker can upload a text file containing a symbolic link to an arbitrary file path. When the application processes the upload, it follows the symbolic link and serves the contents of the targeted file through the web interface. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to read sensitive files on the server, potentially exposing system configurations, credentials, and other confidential information. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.14. No known workarounds exist. |
| Taiga is an open source project management platform. In versions 6.8.3 and earlier, a remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Taiga API due to unsafe deserialization of untrusted data. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.0. |
