| /usr/libexec/openldap/generate-server-cert.sh in openldap-servers sets weak permissions for the TLS certificate, which allows local users to obtain the TLS certificate by leveraging a race condition between the creation of the certificate, and the chmod to protect it. | ||||
| CVE-2016-7499 | 1 Libav | 1 Libav | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The sbr_make_f_master function in aacsbr.c in Libav 11.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted mp3 file. | ||||

| The quantum handling code in ImageMagick allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error or out-of-bounds write) via a crafted file. | ||||
| CVE-2016-7547 | 1 Trendmicro | 1 Threat Discovery Appliance | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| A command execution flaw on the Trend Micro Threat Discovery Appliance 2.6.1062r1 exists with the timezone parameter in the admin_sys_time.cgi interface. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9256 | 1 F5 | 10 Big-ip Access Policy Manager, Big-ip Advanced Firewall Manager, Big-ip Analytics and 7 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In F5 BIG-IP 12.1.0 through 12.1.2, permissions enforced by iControl can lag behind the actual permissions assigned to a user if the role_map is not reloaded between the time the permissions are changed and the time of the user's next request. This is a race condition that occurs rarely in normal usage; the typical period in which this is possible is limited to at most a few seconds after the permission change. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9265 | 1 Libming | 1 Libming | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The printMP3Headers function in listmp3.c in Libming 0.4.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash) via a crafted mp3 file. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9922 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openstack | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| The cirrus_do_copy function in hw/display/cirrus_vga.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator), when cirrus graphics mode is VGA, allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and QEMU process crash) via vectors involving blit pitch values. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9960 | 5 Fedoraproject, Game-music-emu Project, Novell and 2 more | 7 Fedora, Game-music-emu, Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop and 4 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| game-music-emu before 0.6.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service (divide by zero and process crash). | ||||
| CVE-2014-9914 | 2 Google, Linux | 2 Android, Linux Kernel | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| Race condition in the ip4_datagram_release_cb function in net/ipv4/datagram.c in the Linux kernel before 3.15.2 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (use-after-free) by leveraging incorrect expectations about locking during multithreaded access to internal data structures for IPv4 UDP sockets. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9962 | 2 Docker, Redhat | 2 Docker, Rhel Extras Other | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| RunC allowed additional container processes via 'runc exec' to be ptraced by the pid 1 of the container. This allows the main processes of the container, if running as root, to gain access to file-descriptors of these new processes during the initialization and can lead to container escapes or modification of runC state before the process is fully placed inside the container. | ||||

| CVE-2017-1000405 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | 7.0 High |
| The Linux Kernel versions 2.6.38 through 4.14 have a problematic use of pmd_mkdirty() in the touch_pmd() function inside the THP implementation. touch_pmd() can be reached by get_user_pages(). In such case, the pmd will become dirty. This scenario breaks the new can_follow_write_pmd()'s logic - pmd can become dirty without going through a COW cycle. This bug is not as severe as the original "Dirty cow" because an ext4 file (or any other regular file) cannot be mapped using THP. Nevertheless, it does allow us to overwrite read-only huge pages. For example, the zero huge page and sealed shmem files can be overwritten (since their mapping can be populated using THP). Note that after the first write page-fault to the zero page, it will be replaced with a new fresh (and zeroed) thp. | ||||
