CVE-2021-38198 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
arch/x86/kvm/mmu/paging_tmpl.h in the Linux kernel before 5.12.11 incorrectly computes the access permissions of a shadow page, leading to a missing guest protection page fault.
CVE-2020-10781 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the Linux Kernel before 5.8-rc6 in the ZRAM kernel module, where a user with a local account and the ability to read the /sys/class/zram-control/hot_add file can create ZRAM device nodes in the /dev/ directory. This read allocates kernel memory and is not accounted for a user that triggers the creation of that ZRAM device. With this vulnerability, continually reading the device may consume a large amount of system memory and cause the Out-of-Memory (OOM) killer to activate and terminate random userspace processes, possibly making the system inoperable.
CVE-2026-87660 1 Brocade 1 Fabric Os 2026-10-08 N/A
An improper file permission and missing authorization vulnerability exists in the diagnostic kernel module subsystem of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1. An unprivileged local user can invoke privileged hardware tests, force system error conditions, reset hardware blades, or disrupt storage fabric operations.
CVE-2026-86361 1 Dell 1 System Update 2026-10-08 8.2 High
Dell System Update, versions prior to 2.3.0.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
CVE-2026-107377 2026-10-08 7.5 High
datamodel-code-generator generates Python data models from schema definitions. From 0.59.0 until 0.81.0, an attacker-controlled Protobuf schema can supply absolute or parent-directory paths captured by WEAK_IMPORT_PATTERN and consumed by _write_missing_weak_imports in src/datamodel_code_generator/parser/protobuf.py. Exploitation requires a victim or automated job to process the attacker-controlled schema with Protobuf input support, which requires the grpcio-tools package. The paths escape the weak_imports temporary directory before protoc runs, allowing creation of directory trees and new files or overwrite of existing writable files with a generated Protobuf syntax declaration. The effect persists when later Protobuf compilation fails. The written content is limited to a proto2 or proto3 syntax declaration, and direct arbitrary code execution has not been demonstrated. This issue is fixed in version 0.81.0.
CVE-2026-107612 2026-10-08 7.8 High
Incorrect permission assignment in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to read or overwrite the inter-process communication handles used between the TightVNC service and its desktop server process. The named shared memory segment in the Global\ namespace that carries the pipe HANDLE values is created with a NULL DACL, and its name is derived from a time-seeded srand(time(0)) value that is predictable to one-second granularity. A low-privileged local process can open the mapping and tamper with the IPC channel of a service running as SYSTEM, potentially leading to disclosure of session data, privilege escalation, or denial of service.
CVE-2026-106219 1 Jetbrains 1 Teamcity 2026-10-08 6.5 Medium
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.2.1 missing validation of Git submodule URLs allowed reading local repositories on the server
CVE-2026-91797 3 Foxit, Foxitsoftware, Microsoft 5 Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader, Foxit Pdf Editor and 2 more 2026-10-08 7.8 High
Foxit PDF Editor/Reader failed to validate the directory traversal path in the attachment file name, resulting in malicious attachments being able to be written to directories outside the expected secure area when the PDF is opened.
CVE-2026-87685 1 Brocade 1 Fabric Os 2026-10-08 N/A
An arbitrary file manipulation vulnerability exists in the WebTools management interface of Brocade Fabric OS versions before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1. When processing configuration transfer requests, the application fails to properly validate and sanitize a user-supplied status file path parameter. An authenticated administrative user can exploit this issue by submitting a specially crafted status file parameter, causing the underlying process to move an arbitrary system file to a predictable, world-readable temporary directory. This can lead to persistent Denial of Service (DoS), critical system file destruction, host compromise, or sensitive data leakage.
CVE-2026-76280 1 Splunk 2 Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Secure Gateway 2026-10-07 6.3 Medium
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.3, 10.2.7, 10.0.10, and 9.4.15, and Splunk Secure Gateway versions below 3.10.11, 3.9.25, and 3.8.72, an authenticated user who does not hold the "admin" or "sc_admin" Splunk roles could modify Splunk Secure Gateway alert and mobile-device recipient data in App Key Value Store (KV Store) collections that later alert and subscription workflows use. The vulnerability is possible because the affected collections allow unrestricted write access instead of limiting writes to authorized Splunk Secure Gateway workflows. For more information see About the app key value store (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/admin-manual/10.4/administer-the-app-key-value-store/about-the-app-key-value-store), KV store endpoint descriptions (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/leverage-rest-apis/rest-api-reference/10.4/kv-store-endpoints/kv-store-endpoint-descriptions), and About configuring role-based user access (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/about-configuring-role-based-user-access) in the Splunk documentation.
CVE-2026-79814 1 Hewlett Packard Enterprise (hpe) 1 Clearpass Policy Manager (cppm) 2026-10-07 6.7 Medium
An arbitrary file write vulnerability in the ClearPass Policy Manager OnGuard agent could allow malicious users on a local instance to elevate their user privileges if certain preconditions outside of the attacker's control are met. Successful exploitation could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges on the affected system.
CVE-2026-105267 1 Gitea 1 Gitea 2026-10-07 8.1 High
The Gitea web route for deleting tags (`POST /{owner}/{repo}/tags/delete`) requires only write access to the Code unit, but shares its handler with release deletion and did not check that the target was a plain tag. A collaborator with Code write access and without Releases write access could permanently delete published releases of that repository, including their attachments. Protected tag rules covering the release tag still blocked the deletion.
CVE-2026-102282 1 Cthackers 1 Adm-zip 2026-10-07 7.1 High
adm-zip is a JavaScript library for creating and extracting ZIP archives in Node.js. Prior to 0.6.1, adm-zip applies the Unix permission bits stored in a zip entry directly to the extracted file via `fs.chmodSync()` when `keepOriginalPermission=true` is passed to `extractAllTo()`/`extractEntryTo()` — and it never filters the setuid/setgid/sticky bits out of those bits. A zip crafted by an attacker can therefore produce an extracted binary with mode `04755`. When extraction runs as root (the default posture in Docker builds, CI runners, and privileged install steps — the exact environments where this flag is used), the resulting root-owned setuid file is executed later by a lesser-privileged user, turning the attacker's code into a root execution. Version 0.6.1 fixes the issue.
CVE-2020-15250 5 Apache, Debian, Junit and 2 more 5 Pluto, Debian Linux, Junit4 and 2 more 2026-10-07 4.4 Medium
In JUnit4 from version 4.7 and before 4.13.1, the test rule TemporaryFolder contains a local information disclosure vulnerability. On Unix like systems, the system's temporary directory is shared between all users on that system. Because of this, when files and directories are written into this directory they are, by default, readable by other users on that same system. This vulnerability does not allow other users to overwrite the contents of these directories or files. This is purely an information disclosure vulnerability. This vulnerability impacts you if the JUnit tests write sensitive information, like API keys or passwords, into the temporary folder, and the JUnit tests execute in an environment where the OS has other untrusted users. Because certain JDK file system APIs were only added in JDK 1.7, this this fix is dependent upon the version of the JDK you are using. For Java 1.7 and higher users: this vulnerability is fixed in 4.13.1. For Java 1.6 and lower users: no patch is available, you must use the workaround below. If you are unable to patch, or are stuck running on Java 1.6, specifying the `java.io.tmpdir` system environment variable to a directory that is exclusively owned by the executing user will fix this vulnerability. For more information, including an example of vulnerable code, see the referenced GitHub Security Advisory.
CVE-2026-105744 2 Docling, Docling-project 2 Docling, Docling 2026-10-07 7.5 High
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.94.0 until 2.132.0, callers that opt into LatexBackendOptions(tikz_engine="tectonic") invoke docling/backend/latex/engines/tectonic.py to compile an untrusted TikZ body and document preamble without restricting TeX file primitives including \openin and \openout. Crafted input can read files available to the converter and create or overwrite writable files, and enabling the tikz_engine_allow_shell_escape option additionally permits shell commands through TeX. The default configuration, which does not enable Tectonic rendering, is not affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.132.0.
CVE-2026-105748 2 Docling, Docling-project 2 Docling, Docling 2026-10-07 4.3 Medium
Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.16.0 until 2.131.0, the InputFormat.JSON_DOCLING backend in docling/backend/json/docling_json_backend.py validates serialized DoclingDocument input without rejecting picture image references that contain local paths or file URIs. When the document is enriched or exported with ImageRefMode.EMBEDDED, the DoclingDocument._with_embedded_pictures and ImageRef.pil_image methods can open those references and place readable image bytes in Markdown or HTML output. Disclosure is limited to files Pillow can decode as images, while differing decode behavior can also reveal whether a path exists. Direct untrusted loading through docling-core is outside this Docling fix. This issue is fixed in 2.131.0.
CVE-2026-106559 2026-10-07 6.3 Medium
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.3.25, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend-module-confluence-to-markdown package is affected by improper input validation in confluence to markdown scaffolder module. Insufficient input validation in the Confluence to Markdown scaffolder module could allow an attacker to influence file write operations during template execution. Exploitation requires a Backstage user to run a template that processes attacker-influenced Confluence content. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.25.
CVE-2021-34485 2 Microsoft, Redhat 7 .net, .net Core, Powershell Core and 4 more 2026-10-07 5 Medium
.NET Core and Visual Studio Information Disclosure Vulnerability
CVE-2026-106494 2026-10-07 4.4 Medium
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.17.8, the @backstage/backend-defaults package is affected by improper input validation in cloud storage url readers. An attacker with write access to a cloud storage bucket used by Backstage could craft object names that could collide with protected files in the output directory. In certain deployment configurations, this could lead to content injection. This issue is fixed in version 0.17.8.
CVE-2026-102141 2 Accellion, Kiteworks 2 Kiteworks, Core 2026-10-07 6.7 Medium
Two Kiteworks Core cluster-management operations did not validate file paths supplied to them, so an attacker holding root on one node of a cluster could write files as root onto another node and cause them to be executed there. Exploitation requires backend root access on a cluster node and a pending software patch present on the target node.
